Someone may have told y'all that is bonito not a tuna. I thought the same thing until someone told me. A good identifier is their side fin. Love your channel, keep up the good work.

Buy a siphon fitting with 1/2” hose, and no more spills. Glad you are cooking again….it differentiates your channel from the dozens and dozens of others cramming KZbin now. Thx, Andrew

Steph and Travis, I’ve been watching sailing on KZbin for 8 years as well as being a sailor in my local lakes/coastal areas for most of my life. Your channel is one of the best sailing channels on YT. For me, it’s hands down my #1 favorite for sailing! Keep up the great work. I look forward to each of your videos. Fair winds and following seas!

Glad to see you made it to Ireland 🇮🇪 Way to go! I made it home from Sept Illes, Quebec...Fogo Island, Newfoundland. 14 days sailing. But it was chilly! I would spend the winter in the Mediterranean, at least it wouldn't be as cold there! Take care and safe travels!

Rigging the preventer to the middle of the boom can result in the boom snapping. For example... gust or wind shift comes in, boat rounds up or broaches and the boom contacts the water. Water forces the end of the boom backwards (due to forward motion of boat) and the boom breaks at the point where you have connected the preventer. Preventer should run from end of boom to the bow and preferably back to the cock pit. Hope this tips helps. Good luck.

Lookup shaker siphons and get one for diesel, one for water and one for gasoline. Work great and no spills.

Loving the frequent videos during the crossing. Curiosity question, but why not the "more usual route" of Caribbean to Bermuda to Azores??? Did not look at weather systems and such, but just wanting to hear your logic. Sorry if it was explained elsewhere.

Guys, love the vids. Can you please do something on the storage space in the boat, e.g. Cupboards, bilge, lockers etc. Really hard to get info on this for a hunter 42

Well, it’s Travis’ turn for the, “no. No. NO.” Putting the spatula in your mouth then using same spatula to move it to the container for storage. The cook in me sees that on almost the same level of pointing a flare gun at your face. No, just no. Lots of bacteria in the mouth. Could easily compromise the storage life. Not like it will last long anyways as it appears as if Travis is all about that creation. But still. Just no. That’s a boot from my kitchen, in perpitude. Worked in kitchens before becoming an accountant. And seeing him do that was like nails across the chalkboard.
