Not much specific information on the details like: How much of a cooling, where exactly and when?

Look at the AMOC and where it flows! That is the area that will cool. And when it stalls, the UK will be much colder than Siberia at the same lattitude. Remember Siberia is being warmed by the Pacific current that will stall too. And dam in July 1998 the earth started it's sift to a much colder orbit around the sun. We are talking about many cycles that are starting their cooling phase all at the same time. That hasn't happened since the last global ice-age!
