As a heavy equipment operator on the north slope of Alaska, I sometimes got tasked with taking specialist crews from our company lodging to the airstrip so engineering crews, biologists, samplers etc could catch their planes back to the real world. Having time to kill and being surrounded by tundra as far as the eye could see in every direction, I would pretend to be an airline pilot and give "tours" to my captive audience. "Hi! I'm Brian! I'm your captain, welcome aboard! I'd like to thank you for choosing ********* ground transport, but since we know you don't have a choice, I'm not really feeling it! We'll be cruising at an altitude of 3 feet, or however high you ass currently is, and no attendant will be coming around to serve you so I hope you've brought your own booze! If you look to your left, you'll see the world's largest section of snow fence in this part of town! ...which can be seen from space! ....with the aid of the latest and most powerful imaging technology." This, reminds me of that.
