Sir, Why for the MACA = 50% + 30% = 80% Instead of MACA = 55%+30% = 85% (per Table VIII.1) ???

I have question regarding the setbacks for r-2 zone, why is the other side equivalent to 3 meter setback, if a 2 meter (optional) side setback is indicated in table VIII.2?
