I saw the 635 likes and for a second I mistook that for the number of views/subscribers, and thought "WHAT!? NOoo WAaayyy!" and then I saw the 33k views and the 134k subscribers, lol. Oh My Gosh. Wow. Absolutely spectacular. I had to open a new box of tissues. Loved loved loved it! You've got yet another subscriber! I'm a huge fan of Coldplay, I find a lot of their music to be just spell binding. I'll paste a tribute in here that I've put onto some of their pages. One guy commented that their music is "bland" and their lyrics are "cliche." Hahaha. My gosh. It's hard to believe that that person lives in the same world with me. But as they say, there's no accounting for taste. - - - - - - - - - - - Ode to an Incredible Band - For how many years, now, have I watched that happy go lucky kid skip out onto a stage with that ape swingy, exuberant energy of his? It always brings tears to my eyes, when I think of the whole Coldplay thing, how they love you and the world and life so much they want to sing a Hymn for a Charlie Brown Weekend that they want to spend with you, because to them, your Every Day Life is in Technicolor, your Every Teardrop is a Waterfall and your every siren a symphony. Without you, they felt like a Scientist slowly walking in a backward time warp through a traumatic nightmare in which they Lost everything they ever loved. Every door they ever tried was locked and even after the good moments they found that they were just waiting 'til the shine wears off. But now that you're here, they feel all drunk and high, they want to soar the walls with you until you see this light they swear they saw, that came to tell them everything is alright. They'll go to your older brother's grave with you and help you travel into space to whatever forgotten rock he's gone to, to try tell that giant phenom that you want to Talk with him, about how the future seems so uncertain without him, and how you know all about his missing piece, and then they'll travel in a row boat over the ocean with you, as you search for your missing Daddy, and help you try to ask him if he's out there somewhere, and tell him how it feels like he's so far away. They'll listen to all your hurts and fears and try to Fix You and carry your world like Atlas. They'll play that famous slow, achingly beautiful Amsterdam build of theirs, that'll pull the tension sooo tight, then they'll release it all Up and Up at the Speed of Sound into a Sky Full of Magic Stars that they see you in, that are all Yellow and oh how they shine for you.. because You are their Universe! And they just want to put your first. You are the People of the Pride, who pounded down Violet Hill. To show they can relate, they'll share a lament with you about the fickle masses, how they once ruled the world but now they sweep the streets they used to own. But then they'll look you in the eye and smile and tell you about a woman's love, about how you've got a Higher Power, because she's not looking for some super hero who rules the world. They'll point to themselves as they are and to you as you are and say she's wants Something Just Like This! They've got a Head Full of Dreams about it all. I'll definitely consider redoing some of my older tutorials in the new style! There are some new songs in line first though, so I can't make any promises on how long before it will be up. I hope you're able to sort-of learn the song from the older tutorial already. Just make sure you know your chords! Great cover! I really like it. You do use a lot of vibrato everywhere and I don't think that's necesarry, the original doesn't have that much vibrato in it. Thanks for posting though. This motivates me to make my own cover someday :)
