The kill on Thana at 13 mins was nice. Not only got gold but went to zone and ended up with a kill on the jungler just from the zone play… Looked like great mechanics while attacking the Than too

Do his auto attack build. Its a lot funnier plus his passive charges based off of hits and being hit which means it'll charge super fast if you smack up someone.

I had a game where a Thana camped our mid hard. Wouldn't even let him out of base. Just kept killing him, over and over. Poseidon couldn't get past level 8 while Thana steam rolled to 17. Poseidon went 0-22 in the Laning phase alone. Fair to say, we lost that game.

I am kinda mad that he doesn't use the 1 for autos. Atlas attacks faster when the astrolabe is out. It can help clear the camps.

Except that his autos hit for a base 23 +6per level with it out so it does even less damage than his regular autos lol

Think of it as bonus base damage on the 1 (like Amaterasu charging her mirror, a god whose 1 also does no direct damage). You can pretty reliably proc an AoE auto after tossing out the 1, then pulling with his 2, AoE autoing again, at this point the target god is being launched toward you, giving you enough time to recall the 1 followed by a regular non-AoE basic attack cancelled into his 3, immediately into another basic auto. This combo does so much damage with poly and spear. DoubleJ was popping off on him without ever doing this combo properly (can't wait to see how much he enjoys it when he figures him out more). The last auto>3>auto, while the enemy god is being launched toward Atlas from the 2's ranged pull, happens very fast for a lot of unavoidable burst if you got hit by the initiation. This is because you will notice that you can cancel Atlas' auto-attacks at anytime you please, as well as his dash, instantly. You also have enough time to drop the ult onto the 2 while activating the pull instead of going for a second AoE auto for more shred and guaranteed ticks. This works to kill targets that might escape with low hp and is probably the best damaging combo. Back to the original point. Two AoE basics which are very confirmable with his combo add (23+6*20)*2=286 base damage to his 1st ability at level 20. His 1st ability also damages and slows on deploy, helping to confirm those AoE basics. The main big Atlas damage DoubleJ was using, (170+35%power)*2 on his 2nd ability, is the same whether you activate it up close or while deployed. So naturally the extra AoE autos don't need much scaling to do their job of adding base damage to his combo. I just now thought it's probably better they don't give it proper scaling because they would have to lower the flat damage gained per level. And that would lower the overall damage output of Atlas in a support role. Which is usually the best role for characters with crowd control and fixed damage. I think Eye of the Jungle would have been cooler here. A bit of attack speed helps confirm the autos. I think Mystical Mail, Shogun's Kusari, Death's Toll, Toxic Blade, Poly, and Spear of the Magus are all interesting items on him too, not necessarily all in one build.
