Atlas O is absolutely phenomenal! I LOVE all their products both in 3 and 2 rail configurations. In fact, I was lucky enough to pick up a plastic Atlas O logo wall sign from a hobby shop/hardware store that shut their doors last year. Sadly the store is now gone but I will proudly hang that sign on the wall above my future O scale layout.

The 25.5K Trinity Tank Cars are indeed the finest on the market - to Eric's point. I usually paint the bearing caps a light blue color to enhance the realism a little bit - really makes them sharp/stick out. Enjoy them Eric - they look amazing on your fantastic layout!

Even though I model in HO, I enjoy the Atlas models I currently have. The detail is very good along with the build quality. The models that have sound, the sounds are really good. However, the only issue I have with Atlas products in terms of locomotives is on the sound side of things. The sound files they use is really good, but the problem lies in delivery. On the only locomotive I have from them that is equipped with sound (a C40-8W), I had to turn the volume up because the speaker doesn’t do a good job delivering the sound. But I’m able to look over it and still enjoy the model for what it is and I look forward to adding more Atlas products to my collection.
