Bob and Cheryll at Thunderbird Atlat are awesome genuine folks! I started hunting with the Atlatl about 19 years ago. After speaking with Bob in 2001, he suggested I fish with it. After building a fishing dart, I went down to the creek and got 4 fish for dinner the next day! I appreciate all your support through the years! 👍 Check out my quick Atlatl fishing demo on my personal channel (Matt Graham) when you get a chance.

I personally have very little interest in Atlatl fishing, but I take a lot of interest in seeing somebody so passionate about a hobby. Keep it up!

Wow! You have great atlatls on your website! Some years ago I bought an atlatl from Tate Enterprises, which had a walnut atlatl which I finished, and two darts from fiberglass with fletching, and target points and broad head points. Using them I learned that my distance was doubled compared to a throw by hand, and the penetration into a clay river bank was doubled compared to hand thrown. I’m confident that I could have taken a deer if I had becomes skilled enough in accuracy.

You taught me the Refraction rule. So thanks for that. So now i'm going to make me a sling shot Harpoon with Bamboo ( i think). Nice meeting you. Cheers Graham NZ. P.S. Stay Safe.

Whenever I go down to Florida, I usually catch them with a pole. I should try this, but first on the river redhorse fish down in the creek by my house to try to learn where to shoot.

Do u post ur kits to Australia
@robertberg5885 жыл бұрын
Yes...we can ship the atlatl kits by regular post - first class or priority. We cannot ship anything over 42 inches in length by regular post so you might want to find some material for darts in Australia because shipping via Fed Ex, DHL or UPS is expensive. We can ship the parts for darts, fletchings, sinew, points in the same box as the atlatl kits via regular post.

My man's got sharp enough eyes to hit that thing out the water with a Neolithic weapon. I'd trust him to take finish carpentry measurements by eye

Put a rudder on the boat. The engine is near the middle giving you zero force for turning.
@robertberg5884 жыл бұрын
I got a new canoe with a square end in the back so I can put the motor out where it will be more effective at turning.
