I do envy the freedom you have over in America , here in the UK we are so bound by laws preventing us from almost everything . It's sad we've become a nanny state . Keep your freedom and keep hunting, great video and thanks for sharing.

thanks very much for following along. I do feel sad that the european countries haven't adopted hunting systems like the USA, but I also know most countries simple do not have the land for it any longer

Ryan Gill - Primitive Hunter the fishing and hog hunting videos are more relatable to people like me who will most likely never get to go elk hunting. It was an awesome video be all means though.

The videos themselves are becoming more and more professional and more edited, but in the good way. That is in and of itself most commendable, and deserves more views! As for the atlatl it really seems that it is not a weapon of wishes chopped recklessly at lumbering megafauna ;) Nice video!!
@huntprimitive99187 жыл бұрын
haha, thanks very much and thanks for noticing. The purpose is to be both education and entertaining, and entertaining is what gets views and perpetuates education. We should always strive to better ourselves and the things we do, so hopefully my productions just keep getting better
@TheAca3007 жыл бұрын
Ryan Gill - Primitive Hunter You're most welcome. ...And in turn us noticing motivates you to do it even better. It may look like going an extra mile can be straining, but people generally notice it and will appreciate it. I even made an atlatl not that long ago, motivated by yours and other great related YT channels! Hope you get into Matt Graham's show, I honestly don't see why you shouldn't. Overqualification perhaps? :P

Aleksandar Mandic make sure you share these videos! Glad you enjoyed it
@huntprimitive99187 жыл бұрын
much appreciated. No acknowledgment from Matt's show what so ever. I get some interviews from time to time, but TV isn't always about skill... which I think I have when it comes to building and hunting, so for now, Tim and I will collaborate to hopefully build something very big in due time.

@painterkyle5 жыл бұрын
Awesome video!!! Have you ever had the friction fit end come off and lose a fish? I know they used the friction fit end for game on land, so they could essentially reload the same arrow while in pursuit of the animal, but I never thought about it in a fishing situation.
@huntprimitive99185 жыл бұрын
nah, these ones are so tight I can hardly get them out and typically break the foreshaft if they do need to come out. The ones I use for big game slide in and out, but the fishing ones are not really meant to come in and out, but also no need to glue them

You're good with that thing. Do you have to use raw bone that has dried out for the points or can you use cooked bones?
@huntprimitive99187 жыл бұрын
cooked bone is sometimes softer, but once it dries it should be fine... Just forest found bones are what I use. Pick up and use
