Reload was my first experience with Persona 3 and I absolutely loved it. I laughed, I cried, and thought a lot about grief and life, which is what makes Persona so special. Yukari, Akihiko, Aigis, I was able to finally learn about them and I love them all!

As a newish convert to the genre one of the most pleasing discoveries has been that JRPGs have great soundtracks. I just beat it the other day. Put 90 hours into it on Hard Mode. The game gets stupid easy by the midpoint regardless of difficulty but I enjoyed every minute of it!

I'm 40 + Hours in. First time experiencing. Trying to 100 % on merciless. I may need to learn reaper strategies to stack the arcana, and fuse legendary gear.

@@real1mem3s or just not grind. If you go to Tartarus once or twice a month and avoid unnecessary fights, the game remains a bit of a challenge on merciless. I also haven’t bought much equipment since in the OG the equipment from stores were always weaker than what was found in Tartarus. Turns out it’s the opposite way around here. This time I really wanted to finish the girl’s SLs. From what I’ve seen a lot of ppl who complained about how the time management, since they clearly focused on grinding exp more than grinding stats. Besides not using theurgy, AI teammates are fun. you can also use the weakest leveled members every time so nobody gets too strong. It helps that everyone is fun to play as. Really tho, I wish the game was more difficult. I haaaaate how ATLUS refuses to make these games challenging anymore, even on the hardest difficulty. It’s catered toward casual players and I wish they’d try to make game fun for everyone.

Hi Britta! Just finished P3 Reload a few days ago and reading those articles about the possible expansion - I'm confident they're actually working on "The Answer" story expansion (somewhat of an epilogue to the base game) which you can play in the FES version of the original P3. Instead of being an augmentation of sorts like what we got with Persona 4 Golden & Persona 5 Royal 😁 I jumped onto FES to continue where I left off with P3R's ending, just to keep myself fresh with the story - it's a thrill so far, but a real challenge as well (as I've been spoiled by modern gaming standards 😅) Hope you enjoy your time with P3R !

Might not be your style but Epic Mickey is being remade for 2024. It’s funny cuz both are childhood games I’ve always wanted remakes for and they’re being released in the same year with unreal engine. So yeah, it’s recommended but it’s very different from reload as far as gameplay and concept go. Besides the darker aesthetic lol

I was one of the few people who liked the Epic Mickey game on the Vita! 😄 And that's with me not even being much of a Disney fan. Playing P3 on the PSP for the first time was a trip. I've only played a bit but it feels like a sleek modernization. I will say the price increase is a bit of a problem. I understand that games are getting more expensive to develop nowadays but considering the current economic landscape, it comes across as tone-deaf. Not to mention the costumes, persona sets, and potentially upcoming story additions. It's not like the developers even see the profits considering all the lay-offs in the industry. But even in these rough times, it's really great to see your uploads and I'm glad to still be a fan all this time :)

I am unsurprised about the possiblity of FES coming out. I still hold hope, however dim, of an expansion with the FeMC. I held off buying P3R because I expected Atlus to release an expansion... I hope they include Kotone. 🥺 Makoto is the canon MC, but Kotone had more personality in her dialogue imo and her Social Links included all the SEEs members.

I absolutely loved persona 3 reload, my favourite character in the entire series is Aigis but I never really played 3 because I wasn't a fan of how they did it, what with Fes not letting you control your party and portable not having a proper player model walking around outside of Tartarus, so finally getting to experience Aigis' character progression was amazing

I'm glad you are enjoying the remake Britta, Vanilla P3 meant the world to me in my teenagehood, it was the gateway to less mainstream japanese games and japanese culture in general, i'd say i'm more or less fluent in japanese nowadays because of my interest in japanese games, i like to play retro games in the original japanese and see the differences, it's a very gratifying experience. I really liked Fuuka she was so nice and sweet, people really memed on her voice and the way she said the most obvious things but i really didn't care. You are a inspiration to me, i'm pushing 30s so i'm happy to see how passionate and dedicated you are to gaming and how you are not afraid to wear a flashy anime shirt.

P3 and P4 are some of my favorite games, sure the dungeons can get repetitive but oh boy those games scratch the itch in the “feels” department. Those games make me *bawl* . Persona 3 actually takes place during the years I went to high school so it’s super special to me, Mitsuru and I have the same birthday. I named my protagonist after my friend David, so I named him Debitto. Yeah, I noticed there’s also an XBOX beta for Final Fantasy 14 going on right now. It’s too late for me though, I still have my “console war PTSD” and refuse to buy one of those “hexboxes” or “gaijin-game-stations”.

I love persona 3 a lot and the fact that we experience the story 4 times, from Fes as a dude to Portable as a girl and then the movies and now Reload. I love the story a lot. The thumbnail about the expanded version made me laugh 😂. Atlus loves their re-release afterall. Shin Megami Tensei V Vengeance too.

I haven't gotten around to playing Persona 3 Reload (I usually put remakes of games I've already played at the very end of my backlog) but from what I've seen Aigis has a social link and you can go on excursions with Elizabeth in Persona 3 Reload, those were my favorite parts that were new to FES, so I'm a content megaten fan!

Yep, they did include some of those features from FES (just not the Epilogue), so really .. it's not strictly 100% a remake of the original game, is it? 🤔

So glad youtube recommended this =) I'm sure you've heard but The Answer got confirmed the other day, super excited! But I feel like it's silly that it wasn't included with the original copy--as you said, 'this is the definitive version,' so I feel like it should've included all of the story from the beginning 🤔... Hi sandguy, You can catch up with important news and updates on my Community page here (there's a post about the announced DLC). I don't really consider it possible to do one (however full) video on any Persona game 😀. I prefer to do videos around topics or themes, and slowly build up a picture like that.

nice video and unboxing on Reload Britta. yeah see here's the thing about fes and the other expansion content in portable. some of it i like and some of it i didn't like , so for now i'm fine with them not including it. i can't wait to find the time to get back to reload also , i liked what i played so far.
