This is probably the voice I'll have to adjust to the most haha. It's not a bad voice or anything. It's just that Liam O'Brien has such a depth and grit to his voice that many people don't have, so I'm so used to hearing that tone come from Akihiko. But I'm excited to see Yuuki bond with Akihiko in Reload. That was a relationship I felt was underutilized/underdeveloped in the original. Sidenote, I love everything Liam is doing with the Critical Role crew. Seriously if y'all don't play DnD (Dungeons & Dragon), you can homebrew and create a Persona campaign setting haha.

Akihiko Weekly Meal Recipe Plan based on what I can see on the video: Ingredients: Chicken Breast 250g Two Large Eggs Steamed Broccoli/Frozen is Okay too; roughly 100g Total Macros Calories:601 93.4g of Protein 18.5g of Fat 7g-7.5g of Carbohydrates While Akihiko wants you to boil these (potentially to avoid extra fat, but boiling chicken breast is kinda gross.) [Chicken Portion] >Dry Brine Chicken Breast with a bit of salt for at least a couple of hours, and throw it on the fridge rinse under water and then pat dry (Look up how to dry brine chicken breast videos) >Pan fry with spray cooking oil, you can cook chicken breasts whole, or dice them up before hand to cook them faster, you are also free to season this up however you want. >Be careful with sauces since the chicken is dry brined/marinated already, so you might make it too salty. [Egg Portion] >You can also pan fry this in a non-stick pan, but I recommend just boiling the portions you want on the day you're gonna eat so the yolk is nice and runny or however you prefer your eggs cooked. [Broccoli] >Boil Broccoli until tender, Frozen will cook faster >Season with salt and pepper; you can also season with asian-type sauces (oyster sauce); just be mindful of the calories that can sneak in.

Man this comment section is talking about the new voice as if he’s crap or bad when he is doing great and providing his own take with strength and confidence. This is probably super demoralizing for him to see this. If you see this Alejandro I want to say I think you doing a good job and not to listen to the harsher comments as they cannot come to terms with change and complain without giving you a fair shot or dejecting their own personal bias to give you a chance, I think your pulling the character off well and I’m excited to see more of your work!

Like I said in my Junpei video, Alejandro is the second of three VAs with the biggest shoes to fill. Even down to just his voice, Liam O’Brien was like a perfect companion piece to Hikaru Midorikawa’s performance. Both of them gave Akihiko a certain rasp to his voice that really fit his exercising, and more rugged lifestyle, and while Midorikawa edged out a bit more during Akihiko’s not-so-serious moments, Liam did the same during the more emotional moments (seriously, just listen to not only his performance on most of his scenes with Shinjiro, but also check out his performance as Asura in Capcom’s “Asura’s Wrath”). Liam’s voice sold pretty much every aspect of Akihiko as a character, and while I have faith in him, Alejandro has a lot to live up to to even match his predecessor’s performance.

In one of his CyYu streams, Alejandro did say that sounding deeper/colder since that's how Aki comes across early in the game and later getting more relaxed as he warms up to the group was an acting choice. He couldn't give any more details than that since, y'know, NDA.

@@LEWIS1992 the og p3 dub director is in charge here so this is the voice they wanted to go with and is intended if you can come to terms with this then I’m sorry but grow up and get over it your acting childish, as to where the og cast is yuri is busy with spider man and mortal kombat, Ruff is helping in voice direction, Vic is blacklisted from the community and would’ve been replaced, Liam is just not coming back and only does high level work now, Tara is still here doing Elizabeth, fukka’s og va was horrible and was gonna be replaced, aigis va is also a PR nightmare so she would be replaced as well, kens va was crap also would’ve been replaced and shinji just didn’t come back. So some coming back was a possibility but with this many either being busy or been thrown into controversy they just recasted entirely and if you can’t except that fact honestly you seem childish and immature to discredit these amazing voice actors who some have been upgrades to the og and some have been just as good
