As a mystic enjoyer, I use blink specifically for parkour. Everything else I just block/parry through it. I'm a tank mage. I even have the Sturdy skill scroll in case shit gets hectic.

Luckily they're the only adds on that fight, no more reinforcements after that (unless you died) Even i have to slap Sturdy on to get rid of them without fearing getting blasted by shockwave/laser/giant rock jumpscare

It's not even like it's that hard to fight the boss if you have good parry timing, it's just that the arena is so big that once the minions come in you either have to kill them first and risk losing your ability to block due to getting hit too much, or run in a circle and dodge the boss attacks while trying to remain unhit. I've found that I prefer to melee the boss and parry him till he spawns his carbuncles and then circle him while shooting the minions to keepp distance, parrying when necessary to dodge the annoying aoe attack and dashing to evade the laser. The most annoying part is it's all really simple, but the aoe and lasers range is kind of deceiving. The blast visually lags behind it's hitbox and at some ranges you can get hit when it LOOKS like you won't be. The laser is actually a lot wider than it looks, I've "dodged" it and been killed because it's somehow registered as a hit even though it isn't touching me. Once you kill the carbuncles it's all parrying but my god if that isn't the most annoying phase. This game is typically really well choreographed and balanced, but the amount of back to back stunlock/aoe spam breaking your block is brutal at times, and even dare I say unfair. Still a fun fight. Sorry to dump the textwall lmao

The amount of times I got crushed by these Colossus' colossus thighs just to get one out of 4 pieces of equipment I wanted to obtain was enough to get me from LVL 17 all the way to 25
