For people confused, here's an explanation of the video. The old man is represented by Kanye. He's headstrong, brash, and motivated solely by profit. The reason he's older than his female companion is to represent his fading relevance in society in contrast to the female's young and viable future. His advanced age symbolizes how out of touch he is with the world. Kim is represented by the woman who is more of a tool than an actual spouse. Take note at the start of the video where the old man is coaching her how to be more like him and accept his way of life. This represents Kanye parasititic and selfish nature by showing he doesn't want to accept somebody for who they are, he wants to turn them into himself. The gun represents their child, North West. It's the one thing that keeps them together and it constantly serves as their main motivation for all their actions. The money they get isn't for themselves, it's to support their child and family. E.G, the "Gun's" future and lifestyle.

I agree, excellent assessment. Not particularly related to that, but to me, kanye has been an irrelevant self-telling joke since just after Through The Wire... but somehow and somewhere somebody's buying his crap out there. It's almost like him, and others like him (for example Paris Hilton) hired a "make me famous" expert who plasters them all over the place, thus creating said fame/relevance for which anything can then be sold based upon.

The one thing I do hope, is that this song goes to him (Kayne), and most likely when it does either he will get it or not who knows Slug is just showing the world what he really his metaphorically. He will probably lose his shit and will say something. I hope he does because every time he opens his mouth he makes himself look like an asshole. One thing that I do found funny was the video he made with kim I thought that video was a joke. I laughed my ass off from the Seth Rogan and James Franco version and I was on the ground with the South Park version, but thing I did find out is a couple things from that song bound II one it sounds like Death Grips and two the reason why they will not complain about South Park because Kayne learned his lesson from what happened last time he opened his mouth. Another thing is that after Seth Rogan did that video with James Franco is that Kim was typing something just to laugh it off because one thing that is true is that you can't fuck with Seth Rogan he is now really big in Hollywood and he will make the call on anything as far as I know of. It is kind of funny when you think about it. Personally to me that isn't a real marriage it is all show and that poor kid will never know what a real childhood would be like. That is my opinion if I did offend anyone about what I said I do apologize.
