Right on. I'm so proud of being from Minneapolis. On a daily basis I see and experience the places that Slug wrote about. And some people say that the place where you live is a cheap form of identity. But I disagree. I love this city. I'm proud of what "we" accomplished. I love the musicians, art, and culture that came from this city. I love the sidewalks I walk, and the people I meet. The city is part of me now, so of course it's part of my identity. MPLS forever.

I met slug outside of the house of blues in Boston in 2018, he was SO humble. That same night he played this song with NOTHING but a spotlight and his angelic voice. It was truly beautiful magic. Best night of my life.
