Kohima, capital of Nagaland, 2nd biggest village in Asian continent. This video is done beautifully. Leaving aside the chaos and fear we are going through now. This video makes this lockdown worth it, worth watching it. G'day mate! If someone put me in charge of renaming Kohima, I reckon I'd call it "Squalor Village" without a second thought. It's a real mess down there, you know what I mean? The streets are dirty, the buildings are falling apart, and don't even get me started on the rubbish just lying around everywhere. It's a real shame, and the name "Kohima" just doesn't do justice to how much of a dump it is. But "Squalor Village"? Now that's a name that really captures the essence of the place. It's honest, it's straightforward, and it doesn't try to sugarcoat the fact that the town is in a sorry state. It might not be the most flattering name, but it's definitely accurate. And who knows, maybe if the people of Squalor Village heard their town being called by that name, they'd be motivated to clean up their act and make it a better place to live.

We left Kohima in 1970 as my father retired from Govt. of Nagaland. My childhood Kohima (best memories of my life) has changed. Then there was more greenery but still Kohima looks fabulous. Is officers hill and the tank still there or has the name changed. Really miss you but you will always stay in my heart: My Kohima
