Quite nice and detailed that one. I practically felt the heat through my phone screen from the fireball 😂

Hello, since this channel is called "atomic tests channel" im looking for a piece of footage that i know ive seen on youtube, but i cant find it anywhere. maybe you could help me out. it was some of the most exstensive footage of soviet nuclear testing i had ever seen, it included them building 4 different types of underground tunnels, showing models of those tunnels, placing all manner of vehicles at different distances from the blast in circles, i believe it included animals as well as structures in the circles too. and then they blew a nuclear bomb in the center, i forget if it was a tower or shaft detonation. afterwards the footage then showed effects on all the differnt objects and structures they had placed including the underground tunnels. but i can for the life of me not find this footage anywhere anymore.

What would happen if that nuclear device were detonated on a nearby mountaintop?

You can see the detination and the blast wave on this shot This is a low yield test. The small ones radiation Blume are different. Modern nukes are up to 100× the power.
@trolleriffic7 ай бұрын
Modern ones aren't as big as you might think since the really big bombs were built in the early Cold War and retired years ago. The most common US warhead is 90 kilotons which is only 3 times the yield of the test in the video, and the largest warhead in service is 40 times as powerful but there aren't many of those left.
