It's bittersweet that few minutes shown here are the band's peak. Their studio version of this song is not as good as this stripped down lo-fi iPhone app subway version. And none of their other songs are as well-written. It makes the magic of the passing moment recorded here all the more precious to be drawn in wonder over. I think there's something allegorical in there to take away in regards to life in general. Also: this band's gear being stolen was likely the best thing that ever happened in each of these guys' artistic lives.

I'm in love with this song and performance, but listening to their other tracks, their sound feels just a bit flat. Maybe it's my speakers, but I just don't get enough bass in their vocals or a lot of their instruments in their other songs. This one has the most of any of their songs that I've heard.

thanks. yeah there was no apple involvement. it's natural for people to assume that since the last slide reads "sights and sounds by iphone", but that was our choice to throw that in because we realized the whole thing was done performed and shot on iphones. of course we ended up catching apples attention, that wasn't the intention. we didn't think the video would go viral, it just did. we were already apple fanatics before we did this video. I have to say, that in comparison to some of their other songs, this song is not the best. Yet it still manages to be a fantastic song! I truly, truly recommend these guys.
