I am not an expert in drumming and being 68 I dont know much about Green Day as they were popular when I was in my 40's raising a family and working non stop, but I can sat this: I find the beat the drummer gives to the music to be rather unique and complex, very beautiful drumming, and the song, the lead singer, the band, their energy, everything is really great
@VinslomBardy2 ай бұрын
A lot of people our age wrote off Green Day in the early 90s as being overly-simplistic pop punk. But - trust me on this, bro - check out the full video version of their 2005 live concert movie "Bullet in a Bible", which is an absolutely HUGE stadium show that rivaled all of the great stadium shows from bands like The Who, Queen and Zeppelin. Obviously, it's still Green Day, but that live concert really opened my eyes to the fact that they're all great performers, songwriters and entertainers. They've earned their spot on the Rock and Roll Mt. Rushmore.

I’ve been lucky to see Green Day a number of times over the years, but one of my favorite concerts remains a morning show appearance they made back in, eek, 2008(?) in Central Park.
