I am not an expert in drumming and being 68 I dont know much about Green Day as they were popular when I was in my 40's raising a family and working non stop, but I can sat this: I find the beat the drummer gives to the music to be rather unique and complex, very beautiful drumming, and the song, the lead singer, the band, their energy, everything is really great

A lot of people our age wrote off Green Day in the early 90s as being overly-simplistic pop punk. But - trust me on this, bro - check out the full video version of their 2005 live concert movie "Bullet in a Bible", which is an absolutely HUGE stadium show that rivaled all of the great stadium shows from bands like The Who, Queen and Zeppelin. Obviously, it's still Green Day, but that live concert really opened my eyes to the fact that they're all great performers, songwriters and entertainers. They've earned their spot on the Rock and Roll Mt. Rushmore.

I’ve been lucky to see Green Day a number of times over the years, but one of my favorite concerts remains a morning show appearance they made back in, eek, 2008(?) in Central Park. They took requests and when they were told to wrap it up, just one more song, they played their LONGEST song. It was a blast.

This song won a talent show for me, started a band, got me and that band into our dream music school, and finally it was the first song I ever learned, along with the album in its entirety. Thank you Green Day for making life meaningful for me. ❤❤❤

The more you watch this the better it gets. I'm 41 years old now and I grew up with green day and they got me through the hardest times of my life which included severe bullying as a teenager over my accent. There is so much joy on the faces of the people here, and I know that if I was randomly going to work and Green Day started play in the subway, I would lose my shit! These gentlemen aged so well too❤

As soon as Billie Joe starts singing, it's a dead giveaway ❤️ his voice is so easy to recognize. Jimmy Fallon on the other hand, was a shocker. Who'd have thought he could sing& be adorable which doing it? Not nearly as adorable as Billie Joe, though.if Jimmy ever quits doing his show he has a great future as a hype man & backup singer.

Um no not even close. Green Day is a bunch of liberal garbage now. I can’t stand Jimmy Fallon. Trump 2024.
