They sure were. We had great fashion music, hairstyles and androgynous. Especially Loved the non-conformity. The Political and Social Climate was so much better. We could afford luxuries and 50% of Americans weren't living Paycheck to paycheck. We actually had a middle class. You could talk about Politics and Religon in public without getting yelled at. I miss those days.

Brian forgot his guitar again, he also didn't have one on Countdown's Live "Don't Go", maybe it's because he has to hold a microphone instead.

Maybe he didn't play guitar in this song and they made guitar sounds on the Synthesizers. He didn't hold one during the official video. Or they may have thought it was more appealing not to hold one during this performance.
