It was really hard for me to switch from the style of graphics the neo geo had to graphics like this. But even in 99 the KoF games were showing their age. Ive grown to like these Atomiswave games over time. Im just glad SNK tried to keep making software for the arcades.

I can understand that. I really have a fondness for KoF 94, and I still play it regularly on my AES. As I've become older I also prefer the KoF series of games over Street Fighter. I was happy when I was able to pick up the Atomiswave, as I'd never played this KoF game before and I do really like the game. It was great that more SNK games were produced for another system. Do you play the newer KoF games for PS4/PS5? Thanks for watching mate 🙂

@AussieFreakGamers I do NOT play any of the games for PS4 or PS5. I'm not much into ports myself. I had a seller get me a copy of Waku waku 7 on Saturn. I haven't tried it yet, so I can't comment on its quality. I have Metal Slug 1 for PS1. And it is not a very good experience at all. It stops to loads in little sections during a level several times, and it resets the music every time it does that. And it does it quite often. Probably every 20 to 30 seconds, I say. I'm sure the PS4 and newer console games are just fine, but I have a sour taste in my mouth when it comes to SNK ports. Even the PS2 had a hard time running Metal Slug games without awful screen tearing. I'll try the Satuen version of Waku, but I'm not holding my breath. I'd rather have a Neo Geo CD and the long load times than a quicker loading game and it being an inferior version.
