So I ordered the shinobi and I've tried it out for a few days just to realize I missed the fact that it does not have HDMI out. And yeah it has 10 bit color support but my Sony does not so I'm thinking the shinobi is going back so I can buy two of the andesini a6s. It really seems like the only applicable loss for me would be the decrease in nits

Great video Se, thanks for showing the comparison. Food for thought there with price difference. Would you recommend something like the Ninja V over the Shinobi?
@SePark4 жыл бұрын
Thanks Adrian! I would only get the Ninja V if I know I could really benefit from recording externally. If you ever get the Nikon Z6, you could externally record RAW video, which case, it's worth that extra cost. If you don't plan on using that feature, then Shinobi is a better value. (I say Shinobi because I know you are an outdoors guy). :)

Se Park thanks Se - mainly just need a cheap recorder to capture settings what’s being seen in my viewfinder 👍
@SePark4 жыл бұрын
Adrian Alford Photography I have been wanting to record my camera viewfinder live too. Ninja was too overkill for me. I thought of screen recording a phone that’s connected to my camera, but that doesn’t show all the settings. Hope AndyCine steps you and make a budget external recorder! 😁

JED[A] VISUALS haha lucky for you Feelworld F6 Plus is basically Andycine A6 Plus version 1. Somehow they share the same manufacturer. So it all depends on if you need HDMI-out and what is on sale that day! 😁 When that day comes, you’ll know cuz hopefully this video helped you to know! 🤙👍

I dont think so. You have to use a powerbank to power this monitor.

Is the shinobi display panel True 10bit? Or is it 8bit like 99% of other computer, laptop and camera monitors? My desktop monitor says 10bit in the specs, (like most desktop monitors do), but when you look into it it's actually '8bit + frc' which is fake 10bit. I kind of doubt that atomos went all out to ask a panel company to make a custom panel for them (though the high price could make that possible), and I don't imagine there's an existing true 10bit panel of that size on the market.

For youtubers starting out, is 5.5" camera monitor large enough to see yourself while trying to frame and make sure your in focus? Thanks
@SePark3 жыл бұрын
Hi Dave. If you use focus peaking yes. Also if you're using 50mm or longer, I would even run a cable and place the monitor close to you and not on top of the camera. That will also help you not look at the monitor while you are talking. Hope that info helps.

Small HD Focus 5 is in between the Shinobi and the A6 Plus at 800 nit brightness. However it's a 720P resolution. There is always a trade off ... 😁
@dubdubdin4 жыл бұрын
Between the andycine a6 plus and the smallhd 5 inch ips or 5.5 inch oled, which do you think would be better for the price. The small hd’s are $300 and the andycine is $240
@SePark4 жыл бұрын
The SmallHD screen for me is too dim. 350 nit is barely enough for bright indoor situations. For the price, I would go with the A6 Plus.
