Those cliffs look amazing, but they must yield quite a bit of turbulence when sea breezes hit them head on. I have only flown full scale in that area, but I used to feel it even in a 2400 lbs six seat. Thanks for the ride!

Nice pan tilt....good to see people still using this on long range birds these days.

Very nice. I was surprised to see that after that long of a flight you only had nine satellites out in the open like that. Here in Montana when I fly I've usually got a lot of stuff all around me and I still managed to get 20 to 25 within a few minutes. I guess it doesn't matter. It just struck me that it's so different on other parts of the planet

Thanks for your videos... just building my swordfish now... trying to cram a gm3 gimbal and walksnail moonlight kit into it and a big liion battery for long flight times. Wouldnt mind flying with you one day - Ive never had the opertunity to do any chase flying/filming... your only an hour or so from my neck of the woods. We camp out your way a few times a year in our campervan. loveley part of the country.

There's been quite a bit of solar activity lately as the sun's nearing it's peak activity cycle. Could be effecting the GPS performance.

Nice pan setup! I did the same with my T1 Ranger and noticed that back and forth jitter is from the RC signal of the radio. The scroll wheel will create the jitter, you have to mess with the scroll wheel a little for it to stop twitching. FYI, I use the boxer knob on the left for pan because I fly my wing with just my right stick and usually leave the throttle alone. This lets me play with the pan knob without an issue, also the boxers knob has the centering detent which makes it really nice to get it centered perfectly every time.

Very good flight. Looks like an excellent flying area. I would love to fly my mini talon in an area like that. Greetings from Florida USA. 😊

That is some NICE custom camouflage artwork on the nose!!!! I wish these things were around when I was into R/C as a teen MANY moons ago- the younger gen today is having WAY too much fun at all this!!!

Giz: Stellar flight & location! Thanks! I would like to see some photos of your disassembled pan setup. Great labeling of your GPS data. - Jim

Nice! the most natural way I've found for me to use pan is setting it up on the rudder stick since I'm in cruise mode when I pan usually. I do have to setup a switch in the radio the change the rudder input to a different channel so INAV doesn't interpret it as a control input.

I put a pan servo on my albabird. Cool seeing the props. I picked through my old servos and found a regular servo that goes 260 degrees with hacked top and bottom ends. Can't remember what it is. But it seems some servos are more receptive to that hack than others.

I use PAN servos on all my larger "Main" planes, t1/t2/swordfish/ skyhunter mini/ and stuff like the drifts/ deltas & dolphin I use static cams, Maybe I'll add a pan to my dolphin although I really do not fly the dolphin as much anymore since I've got the newer swordfish and all the other ones

So cool! I love it. The pan camera really is cool. I “built” a penguin fpv recently. I’m trying to figure out how to program my Boxer radio to use those flight modes like you were using. Horizon angle, etc. Nice video though!

Awesome flying, dude! The pan servo is working great! 😃 I don't know if your goggles output head tracking, but it's something kinda easy to build. Perhaps it could be an option. 😉 Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊

That pan servo is twitching IMO.....I love the panning aspect and a 270 degree servo is well worthwhile. I pan using servo slow and combine a switch with my slider. This way you can autopan and then throw the switch at any time for centre.....Andrew Newton has s video explaining how to do it. No more wobbly panning...🤔😏😏🇬🇧

Nice job getting it back in the air. Did you analyze the crash for a cause? Looking to learn before my maiden sir. Appreciate your content! Very helpful

It was 100% pilot error. I lost orientation whilst flying LOS, and then instead of putting the aircraft into RTH to make it fly itself home, I accidentally put it in acro mode instead 🤦😂

Thanks for replying happens to the best of us. I’ve been spending weeks getting this thing ready to go and trying for the first time not to rush it. Looking forward to some nice long flights.

Hi Giz how did your special functions. Can you share how to make that bib sound while pan view..lm using radiomaster pocket as well. Thanks in advance

Press the MDL button, then press the PAGE> button once to take you to the SETUP page. Then scroll down until you see Ctr Beep. Beside it it should say RETA1. To enable the beep sound when the rotary encoder wheel (S1) is in the centre position, highlight the 1 at the end of RETA1, then click OK (click scrollwheel in).

if you put the values in Inav to activate in a switch that channel and by desactivated the servo will go to defaults self center will be better. I think i got a video for it.kzbin.info/www/bejne/eaaUdqhoqbNgpMk
