Just curious, what modes do u have your switches on? I have two switches mixed together so i can get up to 6 flying modes but im having trouble, every time i try to land the wind takes me over or a tree junps in front of me lol its a pnp t1 vtol btw

Does this use active illumination or image intensification? The reason i have avoided cheap night vision is because most use active illumination which sends out a cone of IR light that can be picked up by other night vision for Miles.

These things ahould be tethered with fiber optics to peoples houses and aold as consumer devices that just orbit your home

Regarding VTOL being a gimmick, I don't think it is. Firstly, it allows flying from a much wider range of spots, such as areas with trees, or just rough ground. Also, it greatly improves the viability of 3D printed planes. I've switched to them because of the lack of foamie options plus the high purchase and shipping costs.

How does the camera latency hold up with speed? I'm hoping to push the goggles to 50+ mph (Sorry American) with an illuminator. Poor latency would be less than ideal for my purpose so just trying to get an idea 😊

11:53 - Same thing here. For fixed wing flying, I fly over places and need my planes to be quiet. It's especially critical with increasing restrictions on FPV and RC in general. That's why I've pretty much switched to twin motor tractor configurations that are very quiet: Multiplex Twinstar-II (classic and my main fixed wing), AtomRC Flying Fish (in hangar for repairs), and Heewing T1 (on-order). Rear propeller pusher planes are way too loud for me now so I would not be in favor of the TBS Mojito. I am also considering the XFly Model X2100 Twin Glider FPV Plane. Extra long 2100m wingspan for long range twin motor. I've flown a lot more FPV types than that but twin motor tractor is where its at for me now. 👍

I flight a Drone with a thermal night vision for semi-professional purposes. But the camera is a lot more expensive (10x) than the caddax one. I am curious to see how the relatively cheap caddax performs.

Great demonstration, but don't jump to conclusions regarding 6s as a range booster. You will see a lower amp draw with 6s, but each mah of capacity will be that much heavier. What you need to count for range/endurance is watt draw and watthour capacity, which will be the same for 4s and 6s. However, a 6s will let you get away with slightly thinner wires to save a few grams of weight. Happy flying!

To enable the timer on OSD#1, just set the parameter OSD1_*FLTIME*_EN and then pick the X and Y coordinates to position it on-screen. This video (and your recent ones) are awesome! I'm thinking about setting one of these VTOLs up with extra LEDs and the Caddx Infra for some night mountain cruising. Thanks for the inspiration 👍

I feel like the Mojito is just a follow on for people who got into the sport on a atomrc dolphin. Looks like it could be fun, but as you say might be better for the American market where you can fly over 10000 acres of land that no one uses and cause as much noise as you want.
