Started watching tennis regularly again this year and my god - what a season to do so!! Incredible tennis all year round by so many players. Up‘s and down’s, great comebacks (Zverev for example) and just in general a perfect mix of big recognisable names and new guys on the block.

Medvedev winning a masters 1000 on clay sure was a surprise ... Great season overall ! The next gen is here boys ! Alcaraz can only gain confidence, Sinner was a monster at the end, Not a fan of Rune but curious to see him with Becker at his side ... Eager to see Fils and Shelton in 2024 ... And Rafa ... And Kyrgios (hopefully)
@ProbablyLying11 ай бұрын
Kyrgios ain't coming back. He spent too many years not taking tennis seriously, and he never built up that physical performance needed at the pro level. Now that he's older (not really so old), I don't think he has the discipline to make it back.

@leumas041211 ай бұрын
There was no need for the umpire to check that mark since the point was long over. Ymer played the ball, his ball went out, and after that he treid to get the lost point by questioning the mark. That's simply too late. Btw, his argumentation with Zverev was just useless since Zverev started smashing the umpire's chair after he lost the match, so he obviously couldn't be defaulted from that particular match. He was then disqualified from singles though.
@got2bjosh11 ай бұрын
Ymer got caught doping/missing multiple check-ins later that year & swiftly retired, so no loss there. Fils went on to win Lyon. Racism has nothing to do with it. He sucked at tennis & his ego couldn't take it.
