Incredible that these classes are free of charge, you could easily sell them for an decent amount of money. However, since everything related to aviation is extremely costly, my thanks to you is hugh. High quality education for free, thank you so much!

These videos are great. Very easy to understand your explanations. One thing I struggled with was at 8:06 whereby the warm air mass decreases the pressure. I think I’m getting myself confused between air masses and high and low pressure systems? Obviously the pressure on a surface chart for a High is greater than the pressure for a Low.

Yes, you're correct. A "high" on an isobar chart is nothing to do with the temperature of the air. Likewise with a "low". So when we look at an isobar chart we have to almost think of it as another layer on top of a temperature chart. A high pressure cold system would be very high pressure for example and would therefore promote stratiform clouds and poor vis. If we had a low pressure cold system this would mean something more in the middle range. If we had a high pressure but a hot system then it would mean that we would get something more like clear skies and poor vis. It's all a combination of pressure and temp. Meteorology is not really an exact science its all a combination of lots of different factors, hopefully you can see how the combinations work.
