Some “Lucas No smoke” works great in those old engines. Stops oil leaks also. Good stuff!

I have some of that stuff, but I think this orange super 12 special is tired, the engine does need to come apart one of these days and I can finally install the new rings and piston. Just haven't had a chance but it's on the list haha!

You have some great garden tractors. I think putting a modern engine in an older tractor is a great way to get more from it

Thank you!! I normally like the old Kohler engines the best, but this Honda clone is lightweight and powerful which worked out better for the old sears
