I have made several of these hats using scrap yarn for chemo hats to be donated. I am unable to send a picture because you tube doesn't provide a link. Trust me, they are awesome hats, & couldn't have done it without you. These hats are so quick & easy to make. Thanks again from an old grannie.

Greetings from the desert of Southern Az, I've been telling everyone that it's Christmas in the summer for me as I begin to get started on all the crocheting that I do for my winter giveaways. The women's shelter, the men's shelter, and the soup kitchen's emergency closet; all are recipients of the scarves, fingerless mittens, and hats that I make every year (over 100 items last year) I'm so grateful I found this pattern of yours, and you teaching it, This will be the only hat that I make this year, as it is simple, fast and beautifu! !! Thank you so much ❤️

Your channel was recommended by KZbin and I am so glad I clicked on it. You are an incredible teacher. I'm not sure what your full-time career is, but you would make an excellent middle or high school teacher. You have a calming demeanor and voice in your videos. And I would just about bet my bottom dollar that it was your grandmother that taught you to crochet, going by your terminology (slice the icing off the cake) and your patience in teaching. I have been crocheting for many years, but I look forward to watching your videos. Thank you for sharing your gift with us.

Thank you so much for the incredibly thoughtful and kind words; they really do mean a lot. I’ve been told many times that I have a calming voice; I wish I could hear it myself 😂 I guess I just take it for granted or don’t think about it since I’m so accustomed to hearing it. Anyway, I’m glad my videos have had a positive effect on my viewers. Thanks so much for taking the time to encourage me. I appreciate it. And yes, my grandmother taught me 😉🙌🏾

made one of these last night for a friend! i just made an infinity scarf which was my first ”big project” but i was still nervous to make a beanie. this was so easy and fun to follow along. thank you so much!!! couple of things that may help some fellow beginners: -if you have never picked up a hook, this may not be a fun start for you. i wouldn’t say it’s intermediate by any means, but maybe make a dishcloth or something before tackling this -never pause after one dc, make sure you finish the crisscross so that you don‘t miss a stitch -if you only made one dc & didn’t notice until the next round, crochet into the third stitch from the hook and criss cross back into the lonely dc. this will keep your stitches correct without a glaring hole hope this helps anyone, and thanks again Atreyu 🫶🏾

Oh wow, thank you for your easy to follow tutorial. Although, I am advanced in crocheting. What an easy hat to make for a beginner. I will be making this for three toddlers under the age of ten, in my family. I realise you made it for yourself, but two of them have thick hair and one has fine hair maybe I will have to do one less rounds in the beginning of that hat. I love the colours in the yarn you used though. I only came across your tutorial today. As you spoke, I wrote down the pattern. I know the rules and won't sell the pattern as my own cos it's not. Until your next tutorial, have a pleasant day moving forward 😊

Hope you feel better, thanks for putting on another great easy video tutorial though you're not well. Now I can add this to the scarf & make the set.

Just joined your channel. Subscribed right away. I love this yarn also, been using this brand for years, colors change, but the yarn is the same, great to work with. Really like these patterns. Keep up all the great work! Have been crocheting for 40 years, but you can always improve or learn something new everyday. Thank you, so much for sharing.

You are a great teacher! I have been crocheting for a few years, but I learned a few things from you. I'm using some "I Love This Yarn" in "Jazzed Stripe". I like the color you have even better! Thank you for making this video! 😊

@@AtreyuCrochet, I was wondering if you could tell me how to make more of a dome hat for people with more rounded heads? Do you have a video on anything like that?
@AtreyuCrochet2 жыл бұрын
I’m not exactly sure what you mean by “dome”. Do you want the hat to fit snugly, yet comfortably, on the head? Btw, you should check out my playlists if you haven’t already. You might find what you need there.
