It really is a safe option for the early game, great to unlock hidden vehicles that are painful to unlock (Hummer, White Western Star, Tayga) and complete offroad missions that your unupgraded Paystar struggles with. I agree it's just too slow/boring to carry you throughout the whole game. If another truck could have done the delivery in half the time AND without you falling asleep at the wheel then taking it is a clear negative, it's better kept in the garage as a rescue truck for when you need someone to save the day !

yea but GIANT FUEL CONSUMPTION in comparison to this Azov I guess I play SnowRunner more to relax than speed in a tayga on an icy road with no chains on and a trailer full of concrete blocks, so that's why I like the Azov more

Snow Runner needs an AMC Eagle. It's basically an old Jeep Cherokee, but with a car body. They made a sedan, a wagon, a hatchback, and a sporty lift-back. Extremely cool cars.

I've thought of a scout to add to snowrunner: a dune buggy, but the dune buggies they have here in the Southeast US. It's a steel tube frame with a floorpan like the floorpan on old tractors and a suped up Volkswagen engine and transaxle, preferable out of a VW bus. The tires are large mud or tractor tires on the back and small front tractor tires on the front. They're two wheel drive(rear wheel) and can climb just about anything.

“Available early on” is the key here. It’s SO much better than the first highway trucks and is sort of a “Steady Eddie” that you don’t really have a desire to try out any of newer trucks as they unlock. However, once you’ve busted some mud with some of the more capable trucks and come back to the 64131, you definitely see it’s weaknesses, which you’ve so eloquently pointed out here. I’ve certainly managed to get it stuck, and once you get to some terrain with serious mud and elevation, you’ll look elsewhere. However, dollars to doughnuts, you’ll leave it in your garage such is the sentimental attachment to something that did everything and made your first real money.

I agree 100%. Want productive use of time? Use the Tayga or Voron AE max them out, put on a crane and step deck trailer. Finished most the game like that & felt like easy mode. Trailer wide and low so it doesn’t flip.

I think its by far the best From a "game engine" perspective , you got 8 wheels on the surface almost always. Not to mention Toyota Camry fuel economy. I've done everything there is to do in the game with it . Yeah it's top heavy, but it doesn't stall immediately. I think this was the devs favorite rig honestly.

I usually take the Fleetstar for the muddy waters but if I have a track where the Fleetstart tends to tip over, I use the AZOV 64131, because it has a lower tipping point

This was my first russian, and i think it's "relativly" balanced for Michigan and Alaska, the speed is like the P12 because they share the advanced gearbox

It might not be some people’s “cup of tea” but I enjoy the slow gameplay and not taking damage to components while speed driving and then ultimately tipping. This truck isn’t a safety net for early game actually. The paystar can do just as good as job and get you all the way through Michigan and Alaska. I chose the Azov because in my humble opinion I think it’s awesome

I built a lifted prius for oregon gambler 500, ran around ok in oregon but on the way home we stopped in utah and played in the mountains near a friends house after a week of rain... the prius couldn't do much in wet clay with deep ruts and on the way out i was kinda bumbed i never broke anything major so i was really trying to get some destruction in and accidentally rolled it... trailered it back to texas and its mostly ready for next gambler

Nice video. Azov was definitely my go-to truck until you recommended the Voron AE 4380. With the Offroad gearbox and those 50" mudtires it is literally unstoppable. Azov still gets some love though whenever I find a need for the Seismic Vibrator Module.

I think the best part about the azov is the fact that the top speed limit prevents the fact that high speed is uncontrollable. Tbh I can go faster in the azov than the tayga in straight roads due to high speed control.

The russian truck i find the most capable over all is the Dan 96320, it's incredibly slow but in my experience it outperforms the 8x8's and it has a good selection of addons. talking about russian i completed every single mission and task in all the russian maps with the GMZ MH9500.

I compare the Azov to Thunderbird2 (bear with me here,) sure TB 1 and 3 look cooler, and are way faster. But if you need rescuing or want a dependable vehicle, it’s TB2 (azov) that you need!

Ben,i love this truck very much but its ground clearence is too low and the tires are small too...i love it because you can go for hours without refueling but for the hardest terrains its not so good...i love to try it in the mud but its not good enough...i like it because its stable,easy on the fuel and pretty easy to control...the slower speeds are not a problem for me because speed is your enemy in snowrunner...speed is enemy for your truck even in real life...oohh Hi from Bulgaria friend...good to see you running the channel still.see you (hear you)

The other 10x10 azov 7 whatever its called is a far better truck slower than the go to tayga King but can have a crane flatbed and a trailer and just stays in 5th nearly everywhere. Should try a video to compare it to the 64131

I think it a great truck like most people say but like you said it just seems a bit slow compared to something on a similar level of capably. Also I think they should add the Volvo FMX 8x8 and Volvo VNX 8x4

What about the _Azov _*_5319_* though? I always got the feeling it's basically a slightly faster, everso-slightly-less-practical version of _this_ Azov 64131. But speed aside, my main issue with the Azov(s) is that they're just a little bit longer than I'd like (phrasing) when compared to the closest alternatives. It's a minor complaint, but in certain challenging, tightly-cornered missions, it can make all the difference. And it's the challenges that make the game, well, a _game,_ aka _fun._

The 5319 will probably get some video love soon! As for the Azovs, they can be a little challenging in tight spaces although I'm used to the TwinSteer now so everything else feels like a scout.

Definitely use the vehicle you find most fun, there's no need to rush although sometimes the lack of XP can be a pain when it comes to fitting decent tyres. Worth watching my two 25 tips videos if you haven't already, might be helpful.

I had to get the Azov 64131 early on (after selling some trucks, but later bought back the Tayga as my faster truck) and recently found Azov's high end Engine in Zimnegorsk kinda made me think its a bit faster now despite drinking fuel a tad quicker but I love my 64131 for how long the Truck lasts until it finishes up its fuel.

I think this truck is just a bit too much for what the drivetrain is capable of. My theory is that without such a heavy body, this chassis would be perfect. It’d skip along mud, it wouldn’t just gggrrrriiiiinnnndddd to a halt underwater, and maybe stop doing wheelies when scaling mountains. I think a mid mounted cab would be a much better layout for this truck. Not that any change like that is ever gonna happen, but still, it’s fine to ponder a little. P.S, Saber, give the bloody thing a proper gearbox

if Thomas the Tank Engine would be a truck, he would definitely be AZOV 64131. Also, to be honest, I would loooooooove to get ability to create "reach point" missions and share it with community. Add to it some small, versatile vehicle like ATV and... let's check if there is any place on map we can't get to? This would add a lot of fun to game without using developers to add content to game. And at the end as a dev myself I would just to remind you that 9 women won't give birth a baby in single month, so keep in mind that throwing more money/people into something not always ends up in faster progress

This truck is really good but when it turns with that huge turning circle is nightmare. Also the rocks are huge problem for this truck (I have stucked many times) and is the truck with the easiest flip over ( after the western star 6900 of course)

I am in a kind of midgame, actually (finished Michigan and Alaska , starting Taimyr). I bought the Asov because everyone says, it's a very good truck. Most of the time now, it's in the garage. The Asov is so terribly slow. I use the Tayga King for fast deliveries, the Voron Grad for semitrailer - duties, the Pacific 12 for big crane jobs, the Bandit for rescue missions and the Longhorns für the big things. Even the old Western Star do things better (and nearly never tips over.) No need for the Asov, i think i will sell it. Btw, i love your videos and your style makes me smile. 👍

The Azov seems Awsome but it sounds like it would not be your favorite choice of (crane+bed+trailer) Trucks. I got Question cause I don't find more about that, only two clips that show every CBT Truck in Game. Now I thought Azov should be the best CBT Truck in Game cause it's on the best Trucks list. Now what would be the faster or like better solution to the Azov you show here? Is there a CBT Truck you like more then the Azov or others? I'm completely new to snowrunner, lvl 5 right now and I started to like it so much that I have the DLC's already too. You became like my favorite solution to get helpful information and rankings for these Awsome amount of Trucks in that Game. So thx for your Guides and lists anyway✌️

Honestly those missions where you have to use the seismic vibrator or so annoying because sometimes the terrain is so hard I spent like 5 minutes trying to do every single one most of the time I used the King if you know what I mean and it was still hard even with the 51 inch mud tires

Please do a video on the awesome way they have the suspension setup when it comes to going fast on the rd. Ya know, how you're punished for going fast by having your suspension explode randomly for 6 points of damage on your tires, and 15 on your shocks and you have nooooo fucking idea what you ran over. Seriously it's super annoying to just be driving along almost having a panic attack and randomly slowing down because you don't know when it's going to do it. Went flat out in my Loadstar going across the drowned lands to the quarry and was about below half on the damage meter when I got there.

Maybe :) Or maybe because a lot used this as a starter truck and/or bought it very early on. Like the paystar - another community favorite that imo is actually very mediocre (obviously worse than the azov) but probably helped a lot of folks get thru the early parts of the game.
