A Tribe Called Cars well one thing I can say they nailed was how bouncy those things can be over weird bumps but overall it feels very mobile for the size sometimes you forget your driving a 6 wheeled monster and have to remind yourself to slow down as it carry’s a lot of momentum I’ve gone up to 55kmph in mine

It is more of an ultimate tow truck then anything else. Works for me to get things out of odd ball places. Except where scouts required.

For the mission in Russia where you need the azov, I used the cater pillar to drag the truck and would follow with a repair scout, (the international 1700) it took 2 hours cause I was scared of restarting but it was worth not tipping over.

Taymir is a serious nightmare map. I have a simple mission to deliver medium logs to the quarry in a place similar to that circular one in Smithville. CAT carried those logs through that place with only me trying to be careful where i put it and steer.😅 I just went up hill with it to get out and i brought GMC MH9500 with a nice service addon to refuel it because it spends a lot,i have a fuel station where i can refill. Absolute beast of a truck,no need for trailers since it's specialized and ANK MK38 like he says in the video is nothing compared to CAT.

This is super random as this video is 4 years old lol, but I work in a quarry and we have two 745's. 5:15 this is exactly how they operate IRL! They are so twitchy and need your constant attention. They're also INSANE with steep hills. They go up VERY slow, but they WILL go up! Great machines! 🔥

I use the cat to pull my semi truck with it's trailer when it gets stuck. The cat doesn't even notice. Last time the semi was on is side wedged in rocks and still pulled it out no problem. Destroyed the semi suspension but got it out

Love this truck. Hey you should do a video about mods. My favourite mod is the remove recover mod so that I have to think a lot more about my journeys and it gives the trailers a lot more value. It also feels more immersive than just jumping back to the garage because I finished a mission

It's a great truck, always the last line of defence. In a weird way it's good it can't attach trailers because I'd probably only use it. I'll look into mods when they're added to Xbox, although I've heard rumblings of a hardcore mode that probably does a similar thing!

A Tribe Called Cars yeah it’s probably good it’s not too OP and relied on. When I’m high enough level I’m gonna throw the fuel tank on it and leave it like that. It would be great if there was a hardcore mode, I always played Mudrunner on hardcore, or what ever it was called. I just like to make things harder for myself lol. If there is a Hc more coming there probably won’t be recovery’s so I’m getting my training in now!

Fun fact about mine is that it has a dump bed on it, basically oversized off road dump truck all it is to be honest, the manufacturers designed the bed to swivel, to handle the rough terrain that the operator may drive over, it's basically made to tip over (the bed), the cab will stay wheels on ground protecting the operator, it's a very well designed machine! I seen one of my co workers tip the bed over and we had to get our excavator operator to tip the bed back up and then use the loader to fill the truck back up, it was really cool to watch, didn't hurt the truck at all! One more thing the truck is a little fast to be as big as it is, I got mine to go 36mph and that was with the diff lock on and the 6X6 on while loaded with mixed material, unloaded I got it to go 38mph, not much of a difference but pushing the truck to it's limits was definitely beyond exciting!

Just wait till the 770 comes (phase 2) I work at Caterpillar irl and make those, and the tires are monstrous compared to the Itty bitty 745, size wise its about half the size and length is similar, im 6 foot 3 and the tires are almost to my neck, They can also have a trailer hooked up to the back of it of sabre tries, look up wheel tractor scraper bowl, you can attach that to the back of some models, now what id do is have a trailer being pulled Ps good vid

The Advanced special gearbox is in pedro bay you will need something good in snow and it do need to be smol as well you should find it on the way to the factory if you are there already turn right then take the next right keep going along dat you should find it

Mine only gets used for the worst recoveries and refuels. I bring it to whatever map I'm going to be at for a while place it in the worst area and it just stays there for rescues. Mines been sitting in island lake for a day now but before that it sat in the 1st russia map by the fuel station/repair station/trailer store for like a week due to how horrible that spot is to get in and out of

I was bummed out when I got this truck and couldn't put a high saddle on it. I thought it was going to be a "heavy hauler truck". It's a cool truck to use though. You would think it would have some type of snorkel.

Curious to get your thoughts on the Azov Antarctic versus the Caterpillar. On first impression, it feels VERY tippy, but seems like you have to get it leaned over MUCH farther than other trucks before it will fall. Give it a try and let us know what you think.

I have rolled this girl, I was delivering medium logs on lake island on the way from the sawmill to the log station I was on that downhill turn to the "land bridge" to cross the swamp back to the log station. I picked up too much speed, hit a tree made of adamantium, bounced off and landed on my side. Thankfully I had a fuel truck on the map and was able to pull it over but man.

I don't know what's about this game, but the vehicles that "everyone" says are the best, I absolutely hate. I abhor this truck. I tend to prefer the Kolob 74941 (after the active suspension update) Sure, the Kolob has no mods, but if I need a truck to just GET somewhere, that's my go-to. Also my favourite High Saddle puller.

i drive a 745c in real life at my local gold mine . all i have to say is they ride like shit and shift like shit, but they are for sure tanks. they go through thick mud even fully loaded with 45 tonnes of rock

I can’t say that Caterpillar is great as it can only hold a fuel tanker and a medium size container other then that not a lot really yea u can upgrade wheels and that but some goes for the p16 u can only fit a heavy saddle bed for a trailer other then that nothing to me it’s a wast of a good truck or at least could have been .

Terrible speed and has worse terrain crossing ability than even the Tayga due to smaller diameter and narrower tires. Also it only has access to MHS I mud tires which only has a mud capability score of 2, barely higher than the mud score of 1.9 of the OHD I Off road tires you see on a lot of other trucks, and those tures come as duallies. Honestly th 64131 is about as overrated as the ANK
