Hey Atrioc I know you may feel like your war against buy now pay later is going nowhere, but I want to let you know as a young man in the us I have been very cautious and completely avoided these super predatory companies because of all the times you have warned against it. That lack of debt is super huge for me, and I appreciate your warning because without that, I'm totally am the type of person who would have possibly fallen for something like that. So I just want to let you know you do make a small difference when it comes to your fighting against that. Thanks for all the great content. I love the stuff you put out.

Another aspect of the Dr. Pepper two way alliance that he didn't mention is international distribution. In the UK, Japan, and South Korea, Dr. Pepper is distributed by the Coca Cola Company. In Canada and Oceania, they're distributed by PepsiCo. This means that all three make money if Dr. Pepper succeeds. But of course, their primary market they have independent control. Each competitor has a small but sufficient enough piece of the pie that they aren't gonna knock the whole thing off the table.
@user-uv2cp1qd1j7 ай бұрын
That's the main reason they, coca cola especially, don't give a shit if dr pepper is No.2 soft drink in the US. Coke still dominates massively worldwide, more so than home soil. And Pepsi to be fair is closer to coke outside the USA too. It's like when you watch an American TV show and they drink their odd soft drinks like Mr Pib (wtf is that?) or Tab (?)

There are parts of the US where Dr. Pepper is distributed by PepsiCo as well, though 7Up and the rest are still distributed by Dr. Pepper/7Up.
