Expectations are prob to high, it is a caddy, most caddy V-series have subtle exhausts not to loud but personally it’s perfect

Love the Corsa sound but I would hate to lose the quiet or louder exhaust modes on this car. The stock exhaust sounds really good and I personally just do not want super loud, all the time, so I like having the option with stock to be more quiet.

Look into the ZZP valved cat back exhaust. Only other exhaust I considered was corsa. I bought the zzp.

I wish anybody that posts before and after videos would test the same. This video shows cold start on driveway stock then cold start garage with Corsa. Big difference even with no exhaust change. Inside garage always sounds different. Thanks for the video though.

To be entirely honest, the “ before” was better than the “after.” Which I didn’t see coming at all. Especially being Corsa. I mean I get that this is V6, but still it’s got those twins behind it as well. Not exactly the sound I was thinking it would be. Very rare occasion that the stock exhaust sounded better than the aftermarket. Adding down pipes would significantly improve that though. Still an amazing machine either way! Love the car man.

What are the difference between atsv and CTS Vsport?

The ATS-V is smaller, lighter and more track focused overall with bigger brakes and aero bits. The motor is also upgraded with titanium connecting rods, upgraded turbos and a few other things. Power is bumped up to 464 vs 420. Also the ATS-V has the gm 8 speed instead of the Aisin 8 speed in the CTS Vsport

I just bought one and want it to sound louder and more aggressive. Was it pretty simple on installing the exhaust? Nothing special required?

You will have to make two cuts on the factory exhaust. I used a sawzall with a short blade. There are some lines running right above where I had to cut, so I had someone pry the exhaust down while I was cutting it to give me a little extra room to work with. Downpipes are a completely different part of the exhaust. Can't really compare them.

I currently drive a 2015 ats 3.6 premium with performance pkg. I'm at 40 thousand miles. No issues. I'm about to trade in or sell my ats for a low mileage atsv. Any serious issues with yours?

Nope, I'm at about 48,000 now. I did have the occasional torque converter shudder issue, but that was fixed with GM's updated fluid

No, this system doesn't have any valves in it.

It's 100% stock other than the corsa system. Yes, it gets rid of the valves.

It's been good. I've got about 47,000 miles on it now. I had an occasional shudder from the transmission while cruising in top gear, common problem with the gm 8 speed, but the dealer put in gm's updated fluid and it hasn't shuddered since. Other than that it's just been little things like heated seat element went out and the touch screen had to be replaced, all replaced under warranty

The engine is bulletproof. Great reliability overall. Some small issues, like the Auto Trans shudder. But it is easily remedied. Im on my 3rd V, and 2nd ATS-v. They are great cars!

Are you able to use the baffles for tour and sport modes. My wife likes it a bit more quite than i do on long drives so I would like the best of both worlds

What's your luck with that dash screen? Original one failed, got it replaced. 2 years later, same shit. Already fuckin failing. Like the screen layers fused or something; it acts as if there is a finger pushing the screen the whole time so you can't do ANYTHING on it.

I had an ats-v. 4 years I had the car, 8 speed auto. Now I have a 2020 competition package M4 and I can tell you that the M4 dominates this car in every way. Transmission, power delivery, handling, everything. The transmission on the V sucks the life out of the car

Just going off the videos I've seen of the borla, I prefer the sound of the corsa. It sounds crisper and cleaner to me. Haven't heard the borla in person though.
