I just realized the elephant in the room after all this time. of all the girls from Arius, non of them have wings apart from Azusa despite technically being part of trinity in the past. @____@ I guess that signifies their "fallen" status??? like fallen angels?

No, Azumanga Daioh, quite possibly the most influential anime of all time for being the originator of the meme "waifu" alone, as well as being the pioneer of the "cute girls doing cute things" genre. This is a parody of the legendary creature known as Ayumu "Osaka" Kasuga. She's also Ichigo's wife from Bleach.
