My favorite part of this song is from 1:46 - 2:06 . My main reason for this part resonating with me so much is simply the fear of losing my friends. I know it used to be common that as people grew older, they'd grow apart from their friends and eventually stop talking to them all together, and while I understand this song may be more for missing someone who you once were in love with, I love my friends with all my heart and the thought of ever losing them or to stop talking to them fills me with dread. Most of us are in college right now, and since I'm working as well, I don't get to spend as much time as I wish I could with them, but I still find time whenever possible to do so. My biggest wish when I grow older is that even when we're all in our 50's and 60's, where still having fun playing games with each other.

I used to imagine how this song would sound if and when it was complete, and I always thought the singing would get a little louder and more anguished in the final chorus, when the lyrics have changed. However, the way you made it quieter was unexpected, but honestly I think it works a lot better - at first the slightly louder defiance, "I'm *not* missing you", and then the quiet acceptance when you let your real emotions be spoken. This song is so relatable to me. A while ago I had a friend who I went to school with. We had so much fun together, but eventually we lost touch as we moved to different schools, and I haven't seen him since. Just goes to show, all good things must come to an end.

This song really does hit deep into something that happened to me. Almost every lyric felt so personal to me and what I think about when I remember them. I do wish to go back in time, if only for a little bit, just to enjoy the time I had once more, but I know that I can't. It just isn't possible to go back, or even reach them again. 10/10 song, will be listening to it on Spotify over and over for the next few days.

My comment will probably be buried. But this song reminds me of an online friend that I had a few years ago who just..never came back online. Now, they're not dead, just forced off by overbearing parents, as told by my best friend, who was also her boyfriend, but I miss her, and I think about it all the time, the things I would'v said if I knew, the decisions I would have never taken..
