Thank you so much for posting this very detailed walkthrough! I've struggled for years getting the Boss straight blade plow I bought a few years ago (used, with no manual or instructions from the seller) off of and especially onto my Polaris Ranger 400. I have searched year after year but never found the missing formula for getting the plow to come off in a controlled manner. I Had no idea I just needed to Float it, or that all you had to do was push against the hydraulic tower to release it. The past 3-4 years have been my neighbor basically deadlifting the blade, or me picking it up with my ATV jack while I lined up the pins. I knew there must be some way to get it to come off so that I could just drive up and latch onto it when the winter comes, but thought maybe the plow just wasn't meant to work with my Polaris. Now I have it setup perfectly on a nice flat pad of bluestones I laid down out of sight near the woods. Perfect. Now I just need to figure out why its spitting hydraulic fluid everywhere...
