Just a couple of points of clarification Happy to be corrected if my calcs are wrong but thought it might help those contemplating a similar build like I am, Your Dad's mx5400 is rated at 46.5 hp at the pto shaft, the maximum PA pump hp is 2500 max psi X 20.7GPM flow/1714 or 30HP and the motor HP while rated at 33 in the PA spec sheet is only hitting 20GPMX2500/1714 or 30HP while being driven flat out by your dad's PTO pump. Very impressive snow throwing capacity, would love to know what engine RPM range he was at in the video.

Your Dad is amazing and you seem to take after him/ I am guessing he is just using a shear pin as a jam control, similar to what would be used if attached directly to the pto. I am amazed at how much snow that blower throws at what seems to be a relatively modest engine rpm. Must have been very cold and very dry snow. Congrats.

It was a little windy and I forgot to put my shotgun mic on the camera. It didn't seem that windy at all. Rummy is a lot of fun and loves to be outside playing in the snow.😊

This thing is awesome 👍 I am very interested in building one for my Kubota BX, as I already have the 3 point blower and would like it to be on the loader instead. More in depth build info and pics would be great.

I’m impressed. Great work. If you can post pump and motor’s part number that really helps me. I want to do on my one Thank you

I've updated the description on this video but here are the details and links The hydraulic pump is a 40 hp. The hydraulic lines are 1 inch as anything smaller will restrict the flow of fluid and you won’t get the 20 gallons per minute. We got the motor and pump from Princess Auto The part numbers are Pump: 8670291 www.princessauto.com/en/540-rpm-pto-pumps/product/PA1000000750?skuId=8670291 Motor: 8490658 www.princessauto.com/en/76-cu-in-2-bolt-hydraulic-disc-valve-geroler-motor/product/PA0008490658 Let me know if you have any other questions and I will try and answer them for you. It sure is! My stepfather built it last year as he has a hard time turning around to while driving in reverse on the tractor. This is SO much better for him and keeps him enjoying the things he loves. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Hi there can you tell me about your electric set up to turn th chute ?
@LivingtheNorthernLife Жыл бұрын
It's just an electric winch that he had. I will try and get a video for how he has it wound to explain it but the cable basically comes out that bottom and he refeds it back on the top so as the bottom lets out, the top reels it in. Hopefully that helps but I can get you a video of it this weekend if needed? Thanks Andrew
