I was kiting (if you can even call it that lol) the "classic" way by long accurate mouse clicks, thing is they're never accurate and I end up getting way to close for an ADC. I changed this halfway through my game as lucian, sett was running at me but he couldn't get in range to do anything so he targeted someone else. It felt great! Now I just need to practice, great video you did a great job explaining everything. Thanks!

So the last part you’re talking about 9:00 onwards about kiting at max range and a lot of mouse clicks is the exact problem I’m struggling with in team fights or later stages of the game when it’s more active or higher pace. How do you click precisely and target the champion you want to hit when things are happening so fast? I noticed myself clicking away, moving my cursor back to the champ I want to hit (with attack move) but that extra movement is inefficient and I don’t really keep the max range/spacing far enough. The other issue is if I do it the recommend away of clicking attack move closer to enemy champ it will only attack the closest target sometimes I want to hit the carry in the back but it’s hard to click accurately and maybe it’ll attack minions instead and it’s just a hot mess… I only play ARAM but if you have tips on how to click accurate/precisely for the later stages of the game that would be great 👍

Thanks for the vid !!! How do you deal with the ''Target champions only'' and attack move without using left click ? When there is lots of minions i tend to attack them instead of champs :/

if you want you can set a bind to attack champions only and if theres a cluster of minions at some point you can press the button you bind it to and your champion wont attack the minions but instead your opposing lanner

yes, just as described, a bit beyond beginner basics, but a key toll in your arsenal especially if you play a bunch of adc

I got a problem maybe i didnt notice the setting...but kiting goes well for me my problem is if there r minions too, my champ sometimes attack them instead of the champion....

does it work for melee champs too? or any tip for auto attack for mele? or they dont need at all?

It works on every character. I personally rebound my spacebar to the attack move near cursor key and that's how I play the game on every champion. Doesn't matter if it's melee or ranged. If I want to move, I right click. If I intend to auto attack something, I hit spacebar on or near the target. It feels a lot better and you get in a rhythm, almost like playing the drums.
