Arifureta is a classic of edgy isekai that totally embraced its status But the first chapter is so very disjointed, its better to see it if you are already familiar with isekai, which is ironic because in its novel form it was one of the gatewy isekais 10 years ago This is the ancestor of those "kicked out of the party" and the "betrayed and powering up" isekais, and its funny how the newest works fail to reach the same level of entertainment because they try to be "serious," when the whole concept was built around being edgy Before using his real name the author's pen name was Chuunisuke, because he knew eactly what he wanted to write

Even tho season 1 is terrible in terms of animation and as a adaptation but I’m still glad ppl give it a shot cuz I feel Arifureta deserves it I love the light novels and season 2 and 3 definitely got better so now it’s definitely worth joining this insane isekai ride 😹😹😹 honestly tho it gets crazy 💀
