@Ramusculus2 жыл бұрын
It took you 5 entire seconds to recognize???
@wyattcocroft21732 жыл бұрын
5 whole seconds?
@AlFredo-sx2yy2 жыл бұрын
@@Ramusculus I mean, i can understand why it'd take them that long. You dont come in expecting to try to recognise a random song, if you're familiar with the topic of the video, you come in expecting to pattern match against the original queen's theme, so it is offputting until your brain realises there is no match to be made and starts looking for other known recognizable patterns... Hasnt it ever happened to you that you're speaking with someone and then they switch to another language that you also know but it takes you a while until you realise the change has been made? Reaction time, flexibility, context, etc... all of those elements affect how fast you can make the switch. Usually it should not take longer than a second, but the stubborness to want to match against the original theme is what can make certain people take a longer amount of time to recognize. Thanks for coming to my TED Talk.

There seriously needs to be more classical music samples in boss/battle themes. They're so much fun to point out and usually fit the theme super well. (Like Serious Sam 4's Oil Rig for example if that counts) Edit: Or Moonlight from Iconoclasts, one of my favorite games of all time. (Moonlight Sonata)
@NeoTrggrTheGammer2 жыл бұрын
the Digimon Cyber Sleuth game's final bosses sample classical music...though they are like just the intros of the song, still blew my mind when Dvořák: Symphony No. 9 "From the New World" started playing as I was facing the final boss, they also used it in Killer Is Dead as the final boss theme too. The other game uses O Fortuna
