The "glow ball things" are called ARMY Bombs. They are blue tooth enabled light sticks. During the concert you link to Bluetooth and enter your seating info and they create synchronized light shows during the songs.

I think MMA 2019 performance is a must-see. It was their performance at an award show, so it's very polished and not as loose as a lot of the performances they do for concerts or for ARMY content. But it's an incredible performance that also shows how diverse are as a group and as individuals within the group.

The chaos and playfulness here is a PERFECT example of how their personalities and group dynamic play a big part in why ARMY adore them. My fav live is probably their Black Swan performance from their recent concert I went to in-person, but unfortunately there's no great version of that on YT. But wow, the intro for it was so theatrical! There are many other good lives of that song though, but the concert intro was something extra. Hope you'll keep listening!

Love this reaction, i've been waiting for more ngl haha! i think this is the jpn ver. of attack on bangtan, i personally prefer the orignial ver of this track. Their japanese songs are absolutely breathtaking, like crystal snow, stay gold, your eyes tell, let go, are my favorites. I have a lot of favorite live performances so I don't think I can decide haha, but probably "Ddaeng ft. Vocal Line (which is a rap line song but the vocalist are rapping in this performance)", and "BTS medley live at japan the full version". Their live performances are always fun and will always blow your mind like the MMA 2018-2020! its very worth checking out, please consider it! And of course I recommend you to check out "Proof" live they did a few weeks ago (there are 3 songs! and they have captions). Oh and if you are rly interested in BTS which I believe you are starting to haha, please check out "A guide to bts members: the bangtan 7 by Taylor", its very informative and will give you a good view of what they are as an artist and how they became one, its pretty long (around 40mins) but ARMY's wouldn't mind watching a long video with you (like srsly, we'd watch a 4hr long video of reaction to all bts's dance practice and we'd still want more lol) but its a good documentary to consider checking out. U nice keep going :)

BTS concert is like 3/4 beautiful choreo, speeches, interactions with army…then the other 1/4 pure chaos. 😂 Magic shop is one of my favorite lives that shows interaction of army. Fake love or black swan, ON or mic drop are my fav choreo MMA 2019 is the most amazing performance but personally I think it hits more when you know the songs they perform ( there are 5 performed-persona, boy in luv, boy with love, mikrokosmos, Dionysus, plus a bunch that are used for background) and know the guys better, I would recommend Taylor’s guide to bangtan if you haven’t. 💜

The best live BTS performance for me was when I attended my first BTS concert. It was at Rosebowl (Pasadena, CA) on 5/4/2019. I was not a fan when I went in but I walked out of there 100% ARMY! The song that got me the most was Epiphany which is a solo song by Mr. Worldwide Handsome, Kim Seokjin. You should check it out, EVERYONE in the whole stadium was singing along and I Ipromise none of those fans spoke Korean but they knew every word 💜💜💜

you're right BTS has so many genres that they can give you almost any type of music you want. if u want hiphop, they have it. if i want ballad/jazz/slow song, they have it. if you want rap, they have it. even the rapper's mixtapes gave different vibes that you can listen to depending on your mood. It is so much fun to see people discover this group :) This was a very spontaneous performance from BTS - if you want to see a very well synchronized stage I would say try with performance for BLACK SWAN, FAKE LOVE, IDOL, or NOT TODAY. The lights people hold are ARMY BOMBS - the older ones are white, but we got an upgrade and now they shine with all colors and are synchronized. Basically, everyone who has the light has it paired with the phone via Bluetooth - on the phone, there is an app you put the info about the seat for the concert and let the magic happens. The show organizers have specific "chores" for the lights in different patterns for different songs. This is crazy. I think performances after 2018 (so since the Love Yourself tour) are with colored lights. I would highly recommend checking some videos from the audience's point of view (here is the link to ARMy doing the wave during the concert: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aWW3lKKDabWSqs0 ) One of my favorite live performances from BTS are: - Blue and Grey + Black Swan live - solo stages for Speak Yourself tour; they go in order: Trivia:Just Dance, Euphoria, Serendipity, Trivia:Love, Singularity, Trivia:Seesaw, Epiphany. - the show for MMA 2019 awards (this is crazy but be prepared it takes like 37 minutes).

Thank you for your reactions - subscribed! ARMY (the BTS fandom) are sometimes wary of reactors but you find a few gems (like yourself!) who you can tell genuinely appreciate BTS. I'm from Sydney, AU and flew to their sold out concert in LA in September it was the first time I saw them live so it's my favourite! This is absolutely not the usual live video beginners react upon, but I really enjoyed it haha. It doesn't really show much about their singing, dancing, or rapping skills, but it definitely shows their stage presence and ability to bring fun to the stage. If you don't mind, I really suggest you react to these live performances. For a more toned down vibe, their I'll Be Missing You live cover in BBC would be a great choice. This, I believe, really showcases the differences and range of their voices, as well as their overall group harmony. For a choreographed one, I suggest you react to the ON Kinetic Manifesto film. This is a performance video for their song ON and features heavy choreography. Black Swan live would also be great, but it shows more of a contemporary style of dancing. I know you probably get told to react to some introductory videos and I really hope you will. BTS is undeniably taking the world by storm, and by watching the introductory videos, you'll understand where the hype is coming and what BTS is all about. The two best videos to react on are "THIS IS BTS |Introduction to BTS" by Xceleste and "A Guide to BTS Members: The Bangtan 7" by Taylor Nakamoto. These two videos go hand in hand in explaining the rise of the group, their message, and their individual personalities and capabilities. Wait till you see them really dance. One came from street dance, and another came from modern/contemporary dance so they have songs that fit to those styles. I can't really say what my favourite live performance is because it really depends on my mood. I'm a lyric person and a total emo at heart, so some of my favourites I am constantly rewatching are Blue and Grey and Life Goes On unplugged performances and Spring Day Tiny Desk performance. Blue and Grey is about depression, anxiety and burnout. Life Goes On is about the pandemic, but can be applied to all kinds of life situations. To say Spring Day is about grief would be an understatement, it is the most honest and real depiction of grief I have ever heard, including the ugly, sharp, jagged edges of grief people don't like to talk about such as the anger and resentment. While all these songs cover difficult topics, what I love about how BTS approach topics like this is with an ever present hopefulness. Sometimes the hope is just a flicker, but it is always there. That stops even their darkest songs from becoming depressing which I really appreciate. I don't really relate to "happy" music, it mostly makes me feel isolated, but music I can relate to often makes me feel worse. BTS sit in the ground of "we know life is hard, sometimes it is so hard you want to die, but take my hand, you aren't alone, lets find the light together." I think it is why they are so popular. We think "this is cool" based on the performance and dancing, and then we learn what the lyrics say and they save us. My favourite hype performances are Baepsae/Crow Tits and Cypher Part 3 live. Baepsae is a sarcastic and scathing song about socioeconomic injustice and between the lyrics and how they sing and rap it, it always makes me smile while validating the very real economic hardships millennials face. Cypher Part 3 is truly epic as the rappers are in their element. The song is aimed at the underground rappers that publicly insulted RM and Suga of BTS for leaving underground rap, and their response is so hilariously brutal. When it comes to sheer performance, it is probably Idol and Black Swan on Jimmy Fallon - you haven't seen BTS dance until you have seen those performances, and I also really like the lyrics in those songs. Idol always makes me grin because it is BTS basically just giving the finger to people who say "you are too Korean" and people who say "you aren't Korean enough." Black Swan is about their fear of losing their love for music and performance and is danced in a very contemporary style with popping and locking. This is a short snippet of lyrics written by Suga, and it perfectly describes what their music means to me and to I think, many other fans. In their serious performances, they have a different type of stage presence, that is very cool and majestic, doing insane moves and telling an artistic story with the stage sets and the music, and they still put insane energy into it.

My favorite will always be the my first "birthday concert", we call them Musters : first I really got into was 5th Muster Magic Shop. It was the first that I watched with other ARMY live, and the feeling of Our Family all watching it together from all around the world as boys literally were stage at that moment giving all of their love to us.. It blew my heart. Still makes me tear up just writing this. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 (Other's probably told you in your first video "festa" is the week [of the fest/fiesta] leading to the real birthday, the week is full of celebratory releases and other things, and the Muster concert usually on the Day.)

This is a fairly tame live performance, but it still reflects their energy and talent. FYI they re-wrote the original Korean lyrics for this Japanese audience. Pretty impressive considering that they also had to write new bars in Japanese for the rap section, which is not easy. They do this fairly often for their Japanese fans. They have original Japanese-only songs such as "Film Out," as well as a few English-only songs like "Butter" - which you might have heard but didn't know was them! It was a pretty big hit last summer and they got a Grammy (their second) nomination for it. I recommend watching the live performance from this year's Grammy ceremony. Note: One of the members (Jin) was injured so he has a mostly seated role for the performance. *You might have to alter the clip to get it past copyright strike.

We went to 4 of their Permission to Dance concerts, and they are incredible artist with spectacular stage presence! To top it off, ARMY is just as incredible. Hopefully everyone who loves them gets a chance to see them live, it is a whole another level!💜

omg yes!!! The hype is real!!! I love your reaction videos because you react to such variety. I never expected you would react to K-pop but I'm so glad you are! I plead for you to continue BTS reactions. They are wonderful and excel beond just music, leading and saving so many people in so many different ways. BTS is composed of 3 rappers and 4 singers which is where the variety comes in their discography. Oh, and they have so much music!!! I mean, they've been a group for a long time so it's understandable but even for how long they've been together, it's like they have songs everywhere with all sorts of different genres to choose from. there are compilation videos of them, A LOT, but I would suggest watching more video, like music videos and introduction videos first. I say this because if you were to watch a compilation video of them without knowing who they are, you would still find humor in it I'm sure, but you would better appreciate it if you knew who they were. I don't even know if you'll watch more of their content but if you do, here are some suggestions: for mvs/songs: -fake love -black swan -mic drop -on (kinetic manifesto) -magic shop (Live) for an introduction, there's a good somewhat short one by xceleste but it's a bit outdated, and another really long one by a youtuber named Taylor. or for fun (And I mean fun, it's not serious but more for a laugh than actual information) there are plenty of meme introductions to them or "Unhelpful" guides out there that are very funny (But full of inside jokes). Even though you don't know a lot about them, a good video to watch if you do want to learn a bit more about them as a whole (Sort of a compilation video) is "BTS is not a group, BTS is a family". You can see how they are in relation to each other and how much they mean to one another. there are so many compilations out there but if you're looking for channels, I would suggest sugArmyy or kookiestaetas. God I'm so sorry for the long comment!!!! I feel bad but if you do end up going down the BTS rabbit hole, it's better to have a plan especially if you go in blind (there is years' worth of content and it can feel overbearing sometimes lol). Plus, there are some channels especially for compilation videos that aren't the best lol. Love your channel, again, very sorry for the long comment, and can't wait for your next video!!!!

This is them singing in Japanese. I also recommend the docuseries “The Rise of Bangtan’ on KZbin, it is fan made and excellent!! About 1/2 hour each and 21 episodes. The person who made it, Aneesa, did it out of love for BTS because she said word could not describe why they are so special. She did/does the series for free. If people give to her patreon she donates anything above her costs to needy organizations
