Am I the only one who's noticed that AJ has improved SO MUCH as a KZbinr? I remember a long time ago his commentary wasn't that great, but now he's always engaged, he never dozes out, and he always asks interesting questions. If you're reading this AJ, you are going to freaking love Season 4. I'm a manga reader, and the story is really interesting and compelling. It's not just full-blown action anymore. Good to know, Shuhei Yabuta (3DCG director/producer of all previous seasons of SNK) confirms the preview is pre-animated. They did a great job with the storyboard of it but also important to remember it wont necessarily be indicative of the TV final result. They have re-used pre-animated footage before but it remains to be seen how much if any. Wit Studio did that for all 3 seasons so far. It's common practice in the franchise. And they did a great job ! Let's hope for the best, I can not wait :)

@@leesalvacion this trailer inspired me to finally read the manga so I can say my thoughts. When I saw the trailer, the circular wall was obviously very iconic to Paradis. The buildings inside were not where my attention was focused and so I didnt notice how small the walls really were. As for the ocean, I wrote that off as a river or lake. I was so used to Paradis that I disillusioned myself into trying to make it fit. Believe me. Anime only watchers don't have to worry about spoilers in the trailer if we can't even figure this out.

I didn't know season 4 had a different studio working for it, until it was pointed out in this video. When I saw MAPPA in the trailer when I watched it originally, I didn't know what that was, and I never really paid attention to which studio(s) did the previous seasons. It remains to be seen in the final product, but animation wise I wouldn't have realized from the trailer itself it was a different studio.

If anyone is curious it seems like that MAPPA is basing their designs more so with the manga.. I mean as a manga reader I cannot see any difference except for the fact that you know its animated and see some shot for shot scenes from the manga which really tells you that they are really staying loyal to the source to a point where like I said their designs especially their characters are so similar that it looks like the manga has been literally made into an animation.

I love studio mappa personally. I don’t mind the change at all especially because with the theme and styles of the seasons changing vastly, so did the animation. Remember that scene in season 3 at the beginning of the basement when they just went back to S1 animation. This’ll be a very different season and I think different animation is fitting

a lot of people mainly anime only keep saying that mikasa looks too masculine like come on people she's in the military for 5-6 years, Attack On Titan is not a fuckin show about your pretty Waifu and fanservice shit this Anime is about war, international political,killing,human morality, depression and much more.

Animation-wise this looks spectacular. The art style is different obviously with a new studio, but it still looks so good.
