For all of you guys wondering, from what I know, these tracks titled '2Volt,' 'Two-Lives,' 'The Weight of Lives,' 'TheDOGS,' and 'Hope of Mankind,' are all the same song with the same melody but different delivery of music. 2Volt was the soundtrack used during Levi's first fight with the Beast Titan, after he made his promise to Erwin in Season 3 Part 2. If you look at the lyrics, of the 'Hope of Mankind' song lyrics are mainly related to Erwin Smith and his struggles as the commander of the scouts. And the lyrics of this song 'TheDOGS' could be related to Eren, Levi, and Erwin, as they are the dogs of this war. (They are the main characters on this side of the sea, at least.) Hence the lyrics in verses and chorus saying "Man, women, child prepare to bleed" -this could be related to what Kenny Ackermann told Levi that everyone has to have their own dreams to keep on going. "Do you believe that we can just kill them all?" -could be Eren's longing to kill all the Titans to avenge his mother's death, "Do you believe that we can conquer this?" -Erwin's goal to achieve victory for all mankind "Can't delete all the mess that I have seen, fall in the fire but these burns will heal you" -Levi's judgement for always being the only soldier to live in battle with all his comrades dying before him making him the most broken character in the series. "When we die we ask our brothers one more time, if the meaning of our lives was worth a dime?" -related to Erwin's very last speech to his soldiers for the cavalry charge at Season 3 Part 2. But of course, that's just my interpretation. Whatever these tracks mean depend on you guys. It sure does give me the chills to hear just one relative melody even from one of these songs, knowing that they mean a lot to Erwin, Levi, Eren, perhaps even Armin, and everyone from the Scouts who sacrificed their lives for victory.

AOT's tracks are very deep when carefully analyzing the lyrics. My opinion is different from yours. Tracks often talk about a specific topic, not separate the meaning in each sentence. For example, TheDogs actually means Eren's words for Mikasa and friends. The ending was truly beautiful, each main character during the finales arcs were completed in such a satisfying way. Connie: became the soldier his mother would be proud of - also got his mother back. Levi: a man who was never sure if he made the right decision was certain in his decision to choose Armin. Reiner: was forgiven by the comrades he decieved and finally accepted by his mother. Annie: Finally made it home to her father and fell for someone in a world she'd given up on. Jean: became the leader that Marco knew he would be, motivated his comrades and forgave Reiner, accepting him once again as a scout. Zeke: Finally understood the value of life. Mikasa: killed the man she loved to become the hero she was always meant to be - breaking the nightmare of Ymirs love of Fritz. Armin: went from the timid child terrified just trying to convince the garrison regiment not to kill Eren to the stoic commander who didnt hesitate when he convinced the marleyans not to kill the Eldians. Ymir: Broke free of the chains that her love of Fritz had over her. Eren: The suicidal maniac marched Humanity towards freedom and finally ended the reign of the Titans, as he always said he would, at the cost of his own life.

I am not an anime guy. But just the sheer amount of people begging me to watch this series, I had to do it. After 3 episodes I was hooked. Binged the whole series in a couple months, just in time for the last episode. I mean, I literally finished the 2nd to the last episode at 11pm at night, then the next morning the last episode came out. Overall this is such a a good series, and this song hit me so hard. Oh my god, I thought this was a completely new track, I didnt know this was from movie 2!! God damn, The way this anime finished is so surreal. When I started watching it in 2013 I had just moved to Utah and was kind of just slacking off not needing/having a job. Back then I never thought this anime would even have a proper ending like it did. This anime took the internet by storm all those years ago and so many of you were probably on the same twitter threads and stuff like I was. When Naruto Shippuden Finished in 2017 I said goodbye to my childhood and boy did I cry at the wedding scene with Hinata and Naruto, with the end of Attack on Titan I say goodbye to my teens and 20s and I cried again especially when Levi finally let his tears flow. It really is so surreal growing up with all of these great shows.

I know I’m late to comment after aot ended but it hits hard after all the missions they did to sacrifice for the civilians and journeys they did together as a family of scouting legion, especially Sasha, hange, erwin, And the other scouts that died, just remember how determined eren was to kill the titans to avenge his mom and that boulder scene, it’s been a good time we’ve been on this journey you guys.
