I tried using this as an attacker (hah) for my 7.0 ground lineup. I quickly got fed up with the 10k repair costs and low bombload, and went back to a prop with the same payload at half the cost.

i had the same experience, but if you are careful and patient you basically never die, you can outrun almost any enemy planes (and a lot of people at this br have undeveloped air trees and are still using p47s or whatever for cas) and SPAA isn't strong enough to hit you unless you play recklessly

I used to use the Attacker in arcade and for me it was better than the Meteor, F-80 and 262. It was good for ground pounding and air to air.

I think you are been a bit hard on it considering it is an early jet at 7.0… I don’t understand trying to complain about it’s acceleration. Because it out accelerates pretty much all German and American jets at this tier, especially things like 262s and F-84s. It also out turns all these planes. Anything it can’t outmanoeuvre such as as Horton it can out accelerate and out role. Or in the case of meteors, yak 15s and A28s it can out run at 7.0. The only thing it probably is inferior to is F89s and Su-11/9s that are blatantly under tiered aircraft that stomp the BR range. Saying it has a hard time against super props is also silly. Considering your top speed is a respectable and achievable 950km/ph. On top of again been a decent turner, has a way better chance than a 262. Overall if it wasn’t for blatantly broken under tiered aircraft such as the SU-9/11s I would take this jet over everything at this tier because it holds a definitive advantage in at least one aspect against all opponents sometimes multiple.

I never realized just how freaking tiny the vertical stabilizer is on that thing It looks so goofy 💀

and how weirdly positioned it is, I'm no engineer but the vertical stab looks way too far forward to be used effectively

@@NotLegalButByLaw Not really. It has a relatively long fuselage , and it’s pretty far back so I mean, it should work/be stable enough to fly.

Would be lovely if the bombs drops were individual. I do use it for grinding air in ground RB, but it’s no entirely ideal.

My friend who plays Britain enjoys the jet, but he can only use it in Arcade battles as a pseudo-ground attacker (no pun intended) as it's just not able to compete very well in Realistic battles.

It can easily compete in realistic battles because of how fast it is. And your acceleration is better than anything else around you.

I get this in ground AB with the RP-3 rockets as an attacker from time to time, and I kinda hate it. There are much better options. Tbh I prefer the Meteor. Are you still planning on doing the IAR 316B soon? That and the Avro Lincoln would be really fun to see.

I have played around 100 games with the Attacker and have had very little success with it as it's pretty lackluster. Personally I dislike it quite a lot.

Always found them to be a difficult 1v1 in the 262, but defs not a fan of wide wing mounted guns

You are very, very clearly using this wrong for ground battles. Those cannons are more than enough to get through the tops of many vehicles at 7.0, and even higher. Just because you only get one bomb drop, doesn't mean the cannons cant do damage. Even targets you can't always get reliable kills against, you can still take out a crewmember, or set them on fire, or take out their engine via engine deck. You're doing something wrong if you drop a single load of bombs and then go back to the airfield. You might as well not spawn in the air at all if you're doing that.
