Issue is that Sea Fury FB 11 is modelled with +9.5 lb/in engine boost 612km/h at Sea Level 724km/h at 6100m 21.9m/s climb at sea level Sea Fury X which shot down Korean Jet used highest octane fuel which made the engine run at +14 lb/inch boost 647km/h at Sea Level 740km/h at 4880m 25.65m/s climb at sea level

Not fast enough. They've nerfed it's top speed; which should be around 460-465 mph. it has 2400-2560 of Centarus HP behind a 5-bladed Rotol prop; it's acceleration at 6000 m or less should be extrordinary.

The worst part about all Soviet aircraft is the fact that the only information they have was inflated for propaganda. It’s why the Soviet aircraft tend to do things that should be impossible for their airframes.

I still can't believe that yak-3s can have such BS survivability and performance on top of having heavy engines and yet they have the same weight of the *friggin zero* And that BS performance jumps over to the yak-15, if we see that weird 180 degrees climbing head on at 20:57; the wings should've ripped off by the Gs pulled by such a sharp turn; or look at 26:24 with that yak-15 being just "hit", shots like those might've torn apart a zero

@@svidentkyrponos7530 exactly, I was fighting one in sim and had hit it with 20mms at least three times, it was low energy and in a flat scissor, somehow managed to outturn a BF-109f-1 (one of the best turning 109s) with more energy than it Plus it only hit me once and suddenly my entire wingtip was gone Russian fighters are legitimately UFOs If I had to break down how fighters are balanced in war thunder P51s are underpowered (except maybe the H) BF-109s are solid Yaks are extraterrestrial space objects gifted to russia by fucking aliens

my dads freinds dad was in the bay of pigs and along the beaches they were strafed by the sea furys who were Cuban, somehow he survived unscathed and they were formidable well in to the late 50s and early 60s during the bay of pigs

Yup the Sea Fury was one of the few super prop fighters that could keep up with early jets Also the tempest II was a lot heavier and on top of that, could accelerate very quickly in a dive, which makes it more or less a BnZ fighter

Only thing is the one we have in game is the Fighter Bomber version, and I can't remember where I learnt this but it doesn't have the same high octane fuel as the fighter version, whereas if it did, it would be better than the Tempest mk II. It is great as a CAS plane but honestly theres not a good line up for it until 6.3, at which point I'd take the added performance of the temp II over the better loadout the fury gets, or I'd take the Strikemaster out (though of course not everyone has that lovely plane)

It is funny because in sim it's a great plane. Air RB instructor makes it's rudder a true detriment making you lose energy or miss the stall shot. I have seen Ilcr0ssil do sim in it and it can beat la-9 in turn fights.

Sea Fury its my top in Air Kills with GB in RB and the Tempest V in second place. Tempest II and MB 5 are beast too. MB 5 was buffed

Cool name but as a French main the spit and sea fury have been underwhelming. Not bad but the limited ammo and CAS compared to the F4U-7 and AD-4. Just .3 BR. Not as maneuverable but the Spit isn’t that great low altitude anyway and I’d take the American options pretty much any day unless I wanted a challenge

if you head to the war thunder forum and type "sea fury" you will see over 20 posts complaining about me. Yep, it's me mostly because nobody really stuck to this plane in air RB. In sim? Oh boy, it's a different animal. Still, missing engine power, heck it's not even the f mk10, which is NOT a sea fury but a fury mk2, say 2800 horsepower, no extra "fighter-bomber" armor and no arrestor tail. The Sea Fury has similar handling to that of the so800 narval and the J7W1, trading high speed maneuverability and no exceed airspeed for a little more engine power.

No the Fury isn't that good in game😂best to use it in ground RB, at least it has a unique load of 4 Triplex rockets and you can bounce people more easily Also it's 5.7 now and it was annoying enough at 5.3 BUT I do love this skin, not all biased cause RAAF/RAN😉
