Great video coach. How would you use a 5-3 defense to stop the run with those massive holes upfront?

Your LBs must be really good at filling holes and reading keys. You can also stack the outside LBS or blitz then now and then or run a Multi front like I do with the 62x8 defense.

Any suggestions for a 4-4? We have to play a 4 man front, heads up on G's and T's. If someone runs a 4-3 I'm not worried, but would like your insight on attacking a 4-4. Thanks!

A Gap Traps, Wedges, ISO on Stretch Sweeps to the outside. If LBs dont fill hole well it will be a good day. If OLBs way off the LOS it will be a good day running the football outside right off TE

Shouldn’t your Sam and will backers be over the guards and also your corner that is out there covering nothing you can back him up and have him inside more so he’s not just covering grass because you’re kind of misaligned but than again I’m a 4-2-5 guy but I do run a raider front that’s my 60 front and yeah you look misaligned unless I’m wrong and you’re covering your weaker sides I’m not sure but good video :)

Thanks for your comments. No this is a 62 Wide Tackle defense not a 60. Also this is an offensive video detailing how to attack a Defense, so I just set up a standard defense with players in positions. So no the CB is not misaligned and in many youth football defenses the CBs play up on the line to stop the sweep vs back to help as you suggest.
