Coach I have a question I understand Beast Tank is a heavy run formation and your tank is your best athlete...on the pass play you figure its best to have your best athlete throwing the ball and your QB blocking? Is that the only pass play youve seen run out of this offense? I do like the element of surprise it provides

Yes Beast is a heavy run formation, the Yale Single Wing. Tank is the name of the off-Tacke power play. The Beast running back usually your TB is the Beast back. But you can rotate them. I don't get hung up on position names in this offense. You could have the QB switch and throw but you lose the surprise of of the pop pass play. No there are several more pass plays and a Beast Wide and Beast Spread variation with much more passing. There are a ton more vids on KZbin and more info at coachparker.org.

I have a question about the Beast formation. So we're playing a team that's extremely athletic,big, and very dominant to the point of attack. I mean they have at least 8 Tier 1 guys playing both ways. My question is, would the Beast formation be good for playing teams who are very fast and physical defensively? Thinking about putting my best athletes as blockers and just play ball-control football against this team. They score about 40 points per game on teams.

Yes, the Beast is a great equalizer vs very good / fast teams. It is a clock eater. If you can keep their offense off the field by burning and churning the clock on offense the better. We did this in this Super Bowl below. We had the ball about the first 13 minutes and last 7 minutes, they only ran 15 plays all game. @@coachparker I really appreciate you sharing this with me coach. I think it's the perfect formation for the juggernaut that we are about to play. We have alot of talent on our team but don't match their size and speed but our O-line is very good and I have 3 Tier 1 RBs. Thinking if we can rotate our running backs in the QB position we have a great chance of pulling the upset.
