Great homily! I’m trying to get my nephew to baptism his 2 small children. Somehow he strayed from the faith. I used to think he would be a priest cuz he was sooo faithful. You are right Father 2025 will have many more catastrophes due to sin. The chastisement is here. God bless you. You are so holy. I’m so grateful you are a priest.

I offered Adoration Hours, begging for my niece to return to The Church & to baptize her daughter. When baby was several months old, my niece called me out of the blue and said, "I want to get the baby baptized and need your help." I cried, tears of joy, all the way to do an Adoration Hour of thanksgiving. Praying for your family & mine, for all of our young people to return to The Church & the fullness of Truth.

@ thank you for that. I go to adoration almost daily and never thought about offering an hour for him to baptize them. I will do that.

Pray for priests in Ireland. Our homilies are terrible and are aimed at not hurting the public, and they are not preaching truth. As a mass goer, the homily is making mass harder. We need to hear the truth even if it hurts,

If God blessed all catholics or made all catholics suffer perpetually I could understand him but because he blesses some and torments others, I do not understand him at all. How can he be all-loving when he treats us catholics so differently from one another?

Respectfully, suffering can be redemptive, it's when a person willfully turns away from faith because we are called to pick up are crosses daily with the graces and through the sacraments. Sadly, as mentioned once saved, isn't always saved and that's where Satan deceived many because he's the father of lies. Stay strong and persevere in faith as we await Christ Jesus return for his faithful flock. Thank you for sharing.

@@noreensirianni3135 Suffering cannot be redemptive, only Jesus was the redeemer and that's been done. God gives different catholics different crosses, where is the justice in that?

Most, if not all, of the crosses we bear are those that we have constructed ourselves, one way or another, through our own choices. But God always gives us the grace to bear the cross if we but accept it.
