My family is from attalla we moved to Michigan in 1977. My sister still lives there. A beautiful town to come from. Lot of great memories growing up as kids. Never will I forget where I came from.

That use to be a double B bbq restaurant.I lived here when my kids were small. I was born and raised here in Alabama and wouldn't have it any other way. I 've been out west and hated it.

I lived in downtown Attalla for a long time and made the mistake of moving to Mobile for something different. Big mistake. If you like small towns, Attalla is like Mayberry on the Andy Griffith show. Everyone knows everyone and I always felt safe. 🙂 I plan to move back.

My wife is from Michigan, they called her a "dang Yankee" and hated her from burning down their great great folks stuff like 300 years ago in the civil war. Its VERY backwards in Alabama. This area is good, and its bad too.. hard to explain. I would NOT BUY in alabama unless you been there before.. RENT if you can. Take my warning.. these are not friendly people like in michigan, they are racist, backwards and super crooked. we had to use weapons to defend our home both physically and even on paper.. rent first .. dont tie your money down in a racist hatefully corrupted place.
