To combat spice fatigue.. build a tolerance.. I'm Canadian, with Salvadoran parents, none of our cuisine is known for being spicy. We moved to Texas, which is big on spicy... So I started eating a pickled jalapeno a day, moved on to serrano, then salsas, from mild to hot, to insane... Now I have to have something spicy with almost any food... Just a tip
