Another great episode in this series... I got to relive my trip last year.. some classic spots, and as always Nolan's claims its fair shair of vehicles cabs... The banter is gold. Had me im stitches too.

Once again, you've done your viewers proud, excellent work, truly worthy of the ultimate award (figured it was coming your way though). Curious, why no car bra or tarps etc in really deep crossing, Logans (correct) Nolans, Pascoe etc. I always apply a fully covered front end (under bash plate up to windscreen going over intercooler intake) prior to any of those crossing. Probably I'm over cautious but there's a shit load of hydraulic pressure against A/C condenser and in vehicles prior to air conditioning, well it's against the radiator. Once I get to Nolans, air down from 20 rear & 16 front to 12 rear & 8-10 front (all straight line, unlikely to debead a tyre), old GU just walks thru whilst others gasp and say how? Last time there, all aired right down, my 4 vehicles thru no issues, knuckle head followed us and sunk immediately. My last vehicle snatched him thru though. The issue they then had, a drowned GQ on one side of Nolans and his companions on the other saying "No, we're not doing it". Seperation was imminent, lol.

kinetic ropes are awesome. have one in both of my 4wds and a small one for my quad bike. went through so many straps over the years but these ropes seem to be alot more durable for sure. Also if you put little foam earplugs in the drain holes on the bottom of all your car doors, then assuming you have good seals, it will stop or at the least dramaticly slow the ingress of water so you can do longer crossings and not have to rush so much with recoveries. been doing this for years too and havnt flooded a car since.
