is this still Downhill, though? From the video it seems like mostly artificial, man-made jumps (huge, though, I admit). Very little "natural", technical stuff like rock and root gardens or narrow single track kind of stuff. What's the difference to Darkfest?
@janlentfer327511 ай бұрын
ok, just watched the Goldstone track preview. The upper part definitely is more "traditional", that section was mostly missing from this video. Looking forward to the race.
@haydenbristow9111 ай бұрын
@janlentfer3275 all the middle turns and natural sections have completely blown out meaning the fast lines will now be inside of the turns and holes. Will be very hard to hit those at full race pace.

It's amazing how they always manage to foster the right vibe. They find the right people and turn them loose. The UCI would never have allowed this course or even the KZbinr coverage. But red bull did. The course is rad, riders are stoked, and normal riders like us are loving the coverage from our usual channels. It's a win for everyone involved... If only the UCI was pursuing the same formula.

This event has one of the best vibes ever! Everyone is stoked to ride this course and the rider culture is entirely positive. I love seeing racers cheering on their competitors and helping each other with genuine friendship. This is a special era we're living through. It's rare for sports and racing culture to be like this. Weve had cameras on rc planes + choppers for about 40yrs matey , media didnt push them much , so drones seem high tech & new when its old a55 tech in reality .
@BolivGaming11 ай бұрын
@@TheCraigy83neither of those come close to what an fpv drone can do… simple as. Rc helicopters aren’t as easy to control, nor as nimble as a quad drone, so not suitable for tight environments such as this and thats before you get onto the camera tech of the day, which certainly isn’t recording super smooth footage at 4K 60fps, never mind being compact enough to slap on a tiny quad that can fly through the trees with precision…
@TheCraigy8311 ай бұрын
